Teacher Yan from the Tainan Mobile Knowledge Base taught many tips on appreciating historical sites. Following the teacher’s explanations, we traveled through the past and present, and it was a fruitful afternoon.

Sign up for the expert-led tour on 10/21 am. Professional teachers will explain the tour, which allows us to get to know and get close to some of Tainan’s cultural relics and history. It also gives us the opportunity to understand the workers/experts who still silently support and maintain historical culture. The dedication and hard work can present the current cultural relics for everyone to appreciate and remember. This is an intellectual humanistic journey. After a guided tour, we have reversed our perception that history is boring and distant. It turns out that history is so interesting and close to life. Thanks to Mr. Qiu for the explanation, for understanding the reason why Chihkan Tower is listed as the first-class historic site, and the uniqueness of adding fragrance and oil in Kaijiwu Temple, and the National Theater that accompanies the great director Li An through his youth...Look Going to the hand-painted movie billboard in the theater, I feel back to the 1960s in the Republic of China, and all my childhood memories have emerged. Thank you Mr. Qiu for leading our family on a journey through time.

The historical and cultural explanations were thorough, dedicated, and passionate. It's a rare opportunity to be next to such a historic site, and it would be even better if we could delve deeper into its understanding. We walked and stopped frequently in the hot weather, so please make sure to bring water, a towel, and a fan; you'll definitely need them! :)
