Fantastic 5.0
Maybe because it was a weekday, there weren't many customers and we had a very comfortable time! We saw a lot of crocodiles, but what surprised us even more was the size of the park!

I went with my 2 year old, older, and elementary school kids. My youngest was a little scared by the crocodiles, but seemed to be enjoying the botanical garden and the red panda corner. The older children were very interested in seeing so many crocodiles for the first time. As adults, we were trained on many stairs. (lol)

About 2/3 of the area is covered, so it's a rare spot that can be enjoyed even in rainy weather. However, 1/3 of the area is uncovered, and if the wind is strong, you'll get wet even in places with a roof. You'll need an umbrella or raincoat in case of rain.

In addition to crocodiles, there are also manatees, red pandas, turtles, and axolotls, so you can enjoy it like a mini zoo.

- Atagawa Tropical & Alligator Garden is a tropical animal land in Japan that has the largest number of alligators in the world.
- This is the only place in Japan you can see the Western Red Pandas! Come see them in the morning for their feeding time.
- You can also meet Giant Tortoise, Flamingo, and Chinese Giant Salamanders!
- 20 different types of bananas are being grown in the park. Taste the fresh bananas at the Fruit Parlor.
