Shuangliu National Forest Recreation Area Tickets

Shuangliu National Park offers a waterfall trail approximately 4 kilometers long. The impressive waterfall makes it a great place to escape the summer heat and enjoy a hike. During our island-wide trip, Taitung was incredibly hot, so we stopped at this attraction for a visit and found it very refreshing. It's highly recommended.

Taking advantage of the long weekend, the whole family went out for a walk in nature. We spontaneously decided to visit Shuangliu. Buying tickets on the platform is convenient and includes free parking. The weather today was great, and we could hear the sound of flowing water along the way. The occasional breeze was really refreshing. There were also many adults with children playing in the water at the riverside. It's truly a great place for the whole family to have fun together.

Today, we experienced two sections of trails. On the way there, we took the Waterfall Trail. The observation deck at the end was quite a distance from the waterfall, so we could only admire it from afar and couldn't feel the negative ions from the rushing water. On the way back, we took the Mountain Trail, which offered good shade along the way, though the path was a bit narrow. It's suitable for a family hike.

Ordering is very convenient. Shuangliu Forest Park is really beautiful. The park trails are clearly marked. There are 4 different levels of difficulty that you can walk. The park staff are very enthusiastic about introducing them. It is worth a visit!

I liked the second visit very much. The pace here was very slow and comfortable. My husband caught three lizards 🦎 and left me speechless 😓 The scenery is beautiful, the air is comfortable, the pace is comfortable, I caught fish and shrimps in a daze, the children were very happy 😊 More to come I want to go again, but it’s a little further away, but I’m happy to go back and forth on the same day🥳

It is a very friendly forest trail, with insects and birds chirping along the way, the river water is very clear and cool, and the toilets along the way are very clean, making it a great place for the whole family to come together.

The environment is very clean, the waterfall has plenty of water, and the transportation is convenient. People over 65 years old can buy tickets on the spot at a cheaper price (10 yuan/person)

Currently, all tickets are half price until the end of March. The air in this park is very good, and you need to be in good shape to reach Shuangliu Waterfall. There are several very clean restrooms along the way. The entire trip takes about 2 hours without rest. There is no food sold inside, so it's best to bring your own. There is a convenience store at the entrance where you turn off the highway, which is a good place to stock up.
