Eligibility
- Children aged 0-6 can travel free of charge
- Children with a height of 115cm or below can travel free of charge
- A paying adult can only bring 2 child. A child ticket will be required for each additional child
- Children aged 12+ will be charged the same rate as adults
- Children who are 115-150 cm in height or 6-11 years old can purchase children's tickets on-site.
- Seniors aged 65 or older with a National ID card can purchase concession tickets on-site.
- Individuals with disabilities and one necessary companion (a note will be added to the new disability certificate if a companion is required) are entitled to half-price fares and priority seating.

From taipei main station need to walk to taipei bus station and go to "Kamal Bus" to collect physical tickets. First need to walk to this Q square mall follow exit Y5. Second at Q square mall go up to Level 1 and continue walk straight to taipei bus station. Go to Kamalan Bus counter to collect the ticket, if you buy both way and don't know what time to come back ask for an empty ticket (shown on 5 image) then when you come back pass that tickets to the counter they will fill in the time and sit number.
I was very satisfied with my trip from Banqiao to Jiaoxi on the Kamalan Bus! The reservation process was simple and convenient, the seats were comfortable and spacious, and the driver drove smoothly and arrived on time. The vehicle was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning was just right, making the entire journey very comfortable. The price was reasonable, making it easier and more environmentally friendly than driving myself. The customer service staff were friendly and patient in answering questions. Overall, it is a good choice for traveling between Taipei and Yilan. I will choose this service again for my next trip and recommend it to friends who need to travel between Taipei and Yilan!
It's very easy and convenient to redeem the tickets. The bus terminal is connected to the Taipei main train station. The ride from Taipei to Jiaoxi is also very smooth and comfortable.
Convenient, fast, and flexible. Free cancellation and modification are available before redemption, and different dates can be selected for the outbound and return journeys. At the 1st floor counter, there is a sign indicating the KLOOK ticket collection counter. It is recommended to check the round-trip schedule on the large screen first, then inform the counter staff to issue the ticket. If the return journey is not yet confirmed, you can also reserve a seat at the return station with the invoice. On rainy days, you can reach the bus station via indoor passages from Taipei Main Station or nearby hotels and underground streets, and there are elevators or escalators, making it the perfect choice for a short suburban trip.
Buying tickets online is very convenient. Once you arrive at Taipei Bus Station, exchange your QR code for a physical ticket on the 1st floor, then head to the gate on the 4th floor to board the bus. The journey to Luodong Bus Station takes about an hour and a half.
Luckily, I purchased the bus ticket from Taipei Main Station to Jiaoxi on Klook in advance 👍🏻. Since my flight was delayed by 1.25 hours that night, I had to rush to the bus terminal to catch the last bus 🚌 when I arrived at Taipei Main Station. I ran at full speed straight to the 4th floor, quickly exchanged my QR code for a ticket, and boarded the 11:50 PM bus to Jiaoxi Bus Station, successfully checking into my hotel 👍🏻.
To redeem your e-ticket, first go to the Kamalan counter on the first floor of the Taipei Bus Station (any window can verify your e-ticket and redeem your paper ticket). Since you purchased a round-trip ticket, the return portion can be left blank, and you can reserve your seat and board the bus in Yilan (you can choose the most recent time slot). Afterward, take the elevator to the waiting area on the left side of the 4th floor to wait for your bus. It’s convenient and fast.
You can pick up your tickets directly at the counter. The tickets are already assigned seats, which are very spacious and comfortable. The conductor will help you with your luggage.
The Kamalan bus service offers one way and round trips from Taipei to Jiaoxi. We took this bus to visit Matcha mountain which is nearby Jiaoxi transfer station. For collecting the ticket, you have to go to counter 14 (1st floor) of the Taipei Bus Station. The bus also has service from Technology Building Station.
Taking the Kamalan Bus for a round trip ticket between Taipei and Jiaoxi Bus Station is very convenient. The redemption is quick and simple, the whole process is smooth, and buying a round trip ticket is more affordable, so it is highly recommended.
