Highly educational and enjoyable tour, recommended. Easy to moderately difficult hiking, memorable photos. Malindo from Ooo Haa Adventure Tours was a very humorous guide & speaks fluent English. He fetched us from our hotel near Waterfront at 7.30am. [Btw, he can also pick up from airport but additional charge may apply. Can leave luggages in his van.] Our tour was flexible as the group only consists of 5 people. We didn’t manage to see any Proboscis monkey but we spotted many other wild life and plants. We even had a nibbling fish experience. Buffet lunch by only canteen was just edible. This Klook deal is cheaper than elsewhere, even after we include any additional tips for an additional one-way boat ride to skip return trip of a difficult trail (MYR50 for whole boat, can share) and for the guide as we liked his service. The additional boat ride brought us to coastal walks which we otherwise won’t explore via trails, so it’s worth. At low tide, take off shoes & wade to board boat.

The weather is really bad, thunderstorms and lightning. We thought that we would not be able to see the animals in this trip. However, our tour guide, Mr. Hamdini, is very experienced and knowledgeable on where to find the Proboscis monkey. As it was raining, he went to scout for the animals, while keeping us safe in the shelter.. Once, he found the monkeys, he came and brought us to the spot. We managed to see a few groups of Proboscis monkeys, male, female and the juvenile monkeys. We also saw the bearded pig and flying lemur. Thumb up for Mr. Hamdini our guide.

Mr Hamdini was our guide and he was really good. The weather was pretty bad with heavy rain and incoming thunderstorms. Do take note that when the tide is low, you would have to remive your shoes on the boat and jump into knee/calf-deep water( depending on how tall you are). Our group managed to trek along the paku trail and please take note that this EASIEST trail, can be challenging for some. We managed to spot a pit viper, centipede, wild pig, silver langur and even a male proboscis monkey. If you were ever given the option to choose a lunch at the park or the jetty/village, choose the village because the food was DELICIOUS and AWESOME!

An unforgettable experience at Bako National Park in Malaysia. Our local guide, Mr. Hamdini, a former park ranger in the area and originally from a village within the reserve, was simply exceptional. He knew every corner of the jungle and could identify animals just by their sounds. During the tour, we spotted vipers, macaques, proboscis monkeys, flying lemurs, wild boars, and squirrels. The tour began with a boat ride to the park, and at the end, we sailed along the coast while they explained the geography and fauna of the area. We ended the day in his village, enjoying delicious local food at a typical bar. A dream day, 100% recommended for nature lovers. Just a heads up, it's very hot: be well prepared!

farah watsapp me a day earlier giving info on meeting time (hotel lobby) what to bring & wear. Upon reaching Bako Terminal, we were handed over to our guide, Mr Pujang , a very well informed & experienced guide. He was very focused on spotting silver leaf monkey, proboscis monkey & bearded pig. we were led on a quite challenging Paku trail, which was exciting. Then we got into a speedboat & headed back to HQ for lunch at canteen. Two thumbs up!! 👍👍

went during low season in Nov so there were only 2 of us. So the guide Bujang focused on the monkeys - probocis, silver leaf and macaque. we saw all of them as he knew where to find them. Needed to hike a bit - but there was no warning from klook as it was slippery n I fell once. Overall a good experience

Bako National Park with Sea Stack Formation Day Tour in Kuching Yesterday I had the pleasure of embarking on the Bako National Park with Sea Stack Formation Day Tour in Kuching, and I must say, it was an incredible experience that exceeded all my expectations. This tour not only offered stunning natural beauty but also provided an opportunity to witness diverse wildlife up close. One of the highlights of the tour was encountering three different kinds of monkeys. The sheer thrill of observing these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat was awe-inspiring. From mischievous long-tailed macaques to the acrobatic silver leaf monkeys and the adorable proboscis monkeys, every sighting was a magical moment. Witnessing their playful antics and observing their unique behaviors added an extra layer of excitement to the tour. Our guide, Johaldi, played an instrumental role in making this tour truly exceptional. His deep knowledge of the park and its inhabitants was evident from the start. Johaldi's passion for wildlife and conservation shone through as he guided us through the trails, pointing out interesting facts about the flora and fauna we encountered along the way. His expertise and enthusiasm brought the park to life, making the experience not only informative but also entertaining. Johaldi's explanations were clear and engaging, making it easy for everyone in the group to understand and appreciate the significance of the ecosystem. He patiently answered our questions and shared captivating anecdotes that added depth to our understanding of Bako National Park. His dedication to ensuring our safety and comfort was also commendable, as he navigated the trails with expertise, always keeping a watchful eye on the group. The Sea Stack Formation, a unique geological feature, was another breathtaking sight during the tour. The majestic rock formations rising out of the sparkling waters of the South China Sea were a sight to behold. The contrast between the rugged cliffs and the serene sea created a picturesque landscape that left an indelible impression. All in all, Bako National Park with Sea Stack Formation Day Tour in Kuching was a remarkable experience.
