Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Tour with VIP Transfer Option

Highly recommended! The vehicle was a spacious and comfortable 9-seater van, with excellent shock-absorbing seats. The driver drove smoothly, and I didn't feel dizzy during the two-hour journey, which was very comfortable. Water was provided in the car, and iced water and cola were offered midway. Our guide, Jack, who studied tourism and hotel management, is one of the most professional guides I've ever met. Jack's English was excellent, his explanations were enthusiastic, and his directions were clear. The itinerary was very well-arranged. We arrived at the Cu Chi Tunnels in about an hour; their history and facilities were very interesting. For lunch, the restaurant was large, and the restrooms were relatively clean. The dishes were simple, with the rice and soup being the best. The hottest two hours of the day were spent driving to the Saigon River pier for the afternoon activities, which was perfect for a nap. In the afternoon, we visited three islands: The first island was reached by a covered boat, which was stable and cool. The scenery along the way was beautiful. On the island, we visited a bee farm and tasted honey tea. For the second island, we transferred to a small, uncovered wooden boat, but large, lightweight bamboo hats were provided. The narrow river was covered by plants on both banks, so it wasn't sunny and there was a breeze. The only sound was the rhythmic paddling of the boatman, breaking the tranquility of the water, with large and beautiful nipa palms appearing and disappearing. We arrived at the second island in about ten minutes, where we enjoyed folk songs (tipping USD 1-2 is encouraged). The third island was reached by a tuk-tuk, where we learned about the coconut candy making process and sampled freshly made coconut candy. I bought a large bag as a souvenir. There was also pure coconut oil, much cheaper than buying it in Hong Kong! In summary, this was my first time using Klook's VIP service, and the quality exceeded my expectations. I am very satisfied!

The tour operator didn’t contact me until about 30 minutes before pickup, so I panicked a bit and worried they might have missed me, but everything was sorted out in the end. We did the full-day Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta tour, and Tom made a big difference. He shared not only information about the sites, but also useful background on Vietnam’s history, culture, demographics, and fun facts, which made the day much more interesting. The highlights for us were crawling through the tunnels and the canoe ride in the Mekong. Visiting local families also gave us a glimpse into a more rustic side of Vietnam that felt very different from Ho Chi Minh City. It is a long day, with around six hours of total driving. The van was comfortable, very well air-conditioned, and stocked with water, and lunch was simple. Do expect some selling activities at the stops, and prices were a bit higher than elsewhere, but everyone we met was nice and we were happy to support the local economy.

I recently took a one-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta cruise in Vietnam, and the overall experience truly exceeded my expectations! Our tour guide, Jack, in particular, made the entire trip interesting and smooth. At the Cu Chi Tunnels, actually walking through the tunnels and learning about the historical background of the Vietnam War was incredibly impactful. I initially thought it would just be sightseeing, but with Jack's vivid explanations, the entire history came to life, and I gained a deeper understanding of the hardships and ingenuity of that time. In the afternoon, the Mekong Delta cruise offered a completely different, relaxing atmosphere. The scenery along the way was very tranquil, and cruising through the waterways felt like a temporary escape from the city's hustle and bustle. We also got to experience local small boats and taste fresh fruit. The overall itinerary was rich but never felt rushed. Jack was incredibly thoughtful, constantly checking in on everyone and introducing attractions with humor, which made the entire journey anything but boring. It felt more like traveling with friends. Overall, this one-day tour offered both historical depth and a relaxing experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City for the first time!

Simon, our tour guide was really good. His knowledge was very extensive. Me and my husband learned a lot. He always payed attention to the group. Waited for us. Always made sure that the group is together. He was also very mindful with us, when my husband went away to buy a coffee while I was away Simon let me know and showed where is my husband. I 100% recommend this tour for everyone. Very diverse. I liked that we went to a workshop where we could buy handmade products from people who were affected by the chemical warfare. I liked that we could support the farmers as well during our tour. Besides the Cu Chi Tunnels, we visited a candy factory ( so delicious), tasted handmade chocolate and cobra wine. Lunch was also amazing. Got the vegetarian option and I think I got more food hehe. I recommend bringing cash to support locals who make this experience unforgettable.

This was an excellent tour. The itinerary was long, with the Cu Chi Tunnels in the morning and the Mekong Delta tour in the afternoon, but it was efficiently managed, which was great. Our guide, Phuc, was energetic and provided clear, friendly explanations in easy-to-understand English. The food was appropriate and delicious. Lunch was served at a clean, upscale restaurant with suitable portions, and the freshly made coconut candy was warm, soft, and sweet. It was also nice to sample various fruits. I especially felt a sense of peace while riding the boat and gazing at the vast Mekong River, listening to Phuc's songs. We experienced all the activities appropriately, such as taking a boat to Coconut Island, riding a tuk-tuk around the island, seeing cobras and iguanas, listening to live music, and taking a private boat for four people.

Nice day tour that combines both Cu Chi tunnel and Mekong Delta. We booked the standard tour but were picked up in the VIP van - the vehicle was very comfortable during our trip. Our guide Wing was great explaining the history of the tunnels and the life along the river. As we had dietary restrictions (vegetarian without alliums), Wing arranged for us very well and we enjoyed our lunch at BamBoo Restaurant after the Cu Chi Tunnels. Mekong Delta was also interesting but be prepared to tip as they do ask for tips for boat rowing and traditional singing. Overall the tour was value for money as it had already included the entrance ticket into Cu Chi tunnel, lunch and snacks.

He explained the history and culture clearly and shared many interesting stories along the way. The tour was well organised, and Simon always made sure everyone was comfortable and stayed together. The lunch was delicious and fresh, with a good variety of dishes. The flavours were not too strong and were very suitable for Asian tastes, so my family and I really enjoyed it. We also loved the Mekong Delta experience, especially the tropical fruits, local activities and traditional music. Despite being a long day, everything went smoothly. Definitely add this to your bucket list when you’re in Saigon!We’re especially grateful to our tour guide, Phu, who was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much about Vietnamese history, culture, and the places we visited. He didn’t just explain our itinerary—he also told us about life in Vietnam and even shared some of his personal experiences, which made the tour more meaningful.Phu even joined us as we crawled through the 100m tunnel trip, always making sure everyone was accounted for and never leaving anyone behind.After exploring the tunnels, we enjoyed a delicious lunch before traveling for about two hours to the Mekong Delta. There, we sampled a variety of tropical fruits, enjoyed traditional Vietnamese music, watched how coconut candy is made, and even had the chance to try the famous snake wine. It was a long day, but every moment was worth it. We’re grateful for the experience and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vietnam.

The group tour was such an enjoyable and informational experience. Going to the tunnels and experiencing it firsthand changes your perspective. Although some accommodations were already implemented for tourists (for example, making the tunnels larger), it does not take away from the overall experience. We would also like to give kudos to our tour guide, Mr. FA. He spoke very good English and his fun but informational way or explaining things was the icing on the cake. We were able to appreciate the Vietnamese culture and history more because of Mr. FA. Thank you!

We are thankful for the guide from Mr Vinh and the driver through out the whole tour! Passionate, energic, thorough history explanation, combined with cultural touch in each of the site. Different experience with the tunnel, successfully crawling (lol) the long tunnel with bunker, and tried to row the small boat in the Mekong River. Very recommended service with complete aspects, good vehicle and aircon (very considerate that in the hot condition, we are comfortable when arrive at the van again!), good itinerary, wonderful custom meals (veg and non-veg),!! grateful for the experience! thank you VIP tour, Mr Vinh and Mr Driver!
