Reviews
Normally, I book local tours through Japanese online reservation sites, but this was my first time joining a Klook day trip. The tourist attraction was quite far, and traveling there by myself would have been very expensive and wouldn't have dropped me off directly at the destination, so I decided to join this tour! The advantage: After dropping off guests at the destination, there was free time, and an hour and a half was enough time for photos. The disadvantage: The seating arrangement was very problematic. As a woman, I boarded at the first meeting point but was assigned to sit next to a strange Japanese man! At the time, there were other women traveling alone; later, at the second meeting point, other women were also seated with strange men! On a very long bus ride, sitting next to a strange man made it impossible to even sleep comfortably! I kindly ask your company to pay more attention to this matter. Thank you.
Itinerary: Very satisfied Rest: Sufficient rest stops were provided. Group Size: Everyone was well-behaved. Attractions along the way: Hokkaido's pink moss phlox (shibazakura) is a must-visit attraction. The tulip garden was incredibly large and beautiful, but unfortunately, the weather was too cold that day, and it was drizzling, so I couldn't take photos in many areas. Although this tour required early mornings and late nights, and the journey was quite long, seeing the mountains covered in moss phlox and tulips healed my soul with their romantic beauty. It was an excellent value trip! The pink moss phlox blooms only once a year in May, so if you're in Hokkaido, you definitely have to join this tour! Tour Guide: Thank you, Vivi, for the detailed information and thoughtful explanations. Superb! 👍👍👍
This journey is long but it’s worth every cent! There are 2 drivers and our guide Oscar, speaks good Chinese, English and Japanese too. We get to see 2 beautiful flower farms with a great weather! Oscar shares some interesting story about himself and also how to take nice photos with our phone using the best angle. There are sufficient stops for a short break to stretch our legs plus toilet breaks, and we could also grab some souvenirs at these quick stops. The pink moss hill starting to bloom and tulips farm is absolutely stunning! Thank you for a wonderful experience and also thankful to both drivers for a safe journey throughout 🙏🏼
Our guide Vivi was very friendly and helpful. She’s fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English, and was able to explain everything really well. The places we visited were lovely, and we had ample time to explore. It was cloudy and windy when we went to Tulip Park, so it was a bit hard to take pictures, but nonetheless, it was a great trip and I’d definitely love to visit Tulip Park again next time. I especially loved Shibazakura Takinoue Park — the mountain was covered in pink, and it was absolutely beautiful. It smelled wonderful too! I also enjoyed the pink shibazakura ice cream, and we were able to see everything.
Great day out. Amazing scenery. Definitely needed to go on organised day trip. Everything ran smoothly. Pink moss was a highlight I didn't expect and I came for the tulips - they didn't disappoint, even in the rain. Highly recommended.
Excellent tour to join if you're travelling with small children or seniors or you don't fancy driving there yourself. The shibazakura was stunning and a very limited seasonal beauty. The tulip farm was amazing too. Couldn't believe we were still in Hokkaido. Only downside is that 8 hours were devoted to commuting, but that's something you have to put up with if you're planning to stay in Sapporo and not go around Eastern Hokkaido.
i love the tour, our guide Andy is very accomodating and informative. travelling for 3hrs is worth it for the amazing view..shibazakura and tulip flower is very beautiful👍👍👍😍😍
The tour was really satisfying. Definitely worth the four-hour travel time while enjoying sightseeing around Hokkaido. Departure and arrival were also on point.
This was my first time signing up for a one-day tour in Japan. The tour guide I met, Vivi, was great, very friendly, and very serious about introducing the local area. The driver was a pretty steady driver. I just suggest that Klook can send an email the day before to inform which tour bus it is and which local travel agency it is cooperating with, so that you will know who to look for and won’t worry about making the wrong choice. It’s great to see the flowers when the weather is fine. I went to Takinoue Shibazakura Park and Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park at the end of the trip and was very satisfied to see the abundant flowers. Although the drive from Sapporo is long, the scenery along the way will relieve your worries.
Tour guide Vivi was well versed in Japanese, Chinese and English. explained the history of the site well. long journey but it was all worth it.
Good to know

- October: Marigolds blend with autumn colors and golden rolling hills. ※ Please note: Flower blooming is highly dependent on weather and temperature conditions. Each period offers its own unique pastoral charm. Thank you for your understanding.
