Reviews
The Sunrise was really beautiful and the hotel transportation is on time and they will also offer hot coffee and tea and some cookies the field of light you can spend almost 1 hour taking some photos and the crew can also help you to take the photos and teach you some photography tips to take photos with the field of light. Overall, the experience is really unforgettable and the sunrise with Uluru was really stunning, you must see once in your life!
I heard that the Field of Light is better as a sunrise tour versus visiting at night, and while I can't directly say that it is since I didn't do the night tour, I do think the sunrise tour was the way to go. You get a good amount of time to walk around yourself (although try to be in front for the guide taking your picture so that you have more time to walk around), and then you're able to watch the sunrise with a nice view of both Ulutu and Kata Tjuta in the far background.
This tour is very well organised. The coach arrived on time and picked us up at 5:15AM. During the transit, the local guide shares the history of the field of light exhibition and was very informative and interesting. The tour first brought us to the viewing platform so that we knew where was the location to see the Urulu sunrise. While the driver was setting up the breakfast, Caroline, the local guide, guided us to walk through the field of light, giving us enough free time to take photoes. She also shared some great photo taking tips, and offered to help take photoes for us. The local guide, Caroline, was very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. She was very attentive to details, and provided very clear instructions for us to get the most out of the experience. I highly recommend this tour because you can see a lot of different scenes. It covered the Field of Light under the moon light, Field of light sunrise, Urulu sunrise, and you can see Kita Tjuta with the moon at a distance. I was very close to getting 2 great photos. Firstly, I could have taken the Field of Light sunrise with a Urulu background. To do this, I will have to wait in the Field of light until I see the urulu sun rise. However, I went up to the viewing platform too early so I missed the chance. Secondly, I could have taken a better picture of an urulu sunrise on the left in the same photo with Kita Tjuta with the moon on the right if I can stay on the left side of the viewing platform at the sand dune. Perhaps, as an experience, you can only prioritise one over the other. If you stay in the field of light too long, you may not be able to find a good spot to take urulu sunrise with Kita Tjuta. If you go up to the viewing platform too soon, you will miss out on the field of light with a Urulu sunrise background. Anyway, so far, I think this tour offers a very good value on seeing the Urulu sunrise, because it covers additionally the field of light, viewing Kita Tjuta at a distance and included a breakfast (hot tea, coffee, biscuits).
There is a Field of Light tour that goes at night (not on Klook). However, the guide said that the Field of Light tour at sunrise is better. You can see Uluru better and it was good.
Pick up was on time but it was at 4:30am so had to get up really early and the temperature in the field was 4C but felt like 1C!! The lightings are amazing and it was a huge spread of different colourful illuminations. Then came the lights of the sunrise reflected on Uluru Rock was also amazing.
It's perfect, drinks will be arranged, and the staff are warm and thoughtful. The sunrise trip in the morning allows you to experience the feeling of the sun lighting up the earth little by little, and the lights gradually brighten and dim, which is dreamy.
Amazing light display against the sunrise in the background. ATTKings arrived on time and transfer is smooth. Ample time to roam the light display before heading back to the dune to catch the sunrise on Uluru.
The most unforgotten experience in Uluru~! Enjoyed the sunrise at the field and the stunning rock. Highly recommended!
Field of Light was wonderful, as were Mary (our driver) and Lindsay (guide) from AAT Kings. Thank you ladies. Highly recommend Field of Light and a visit to the Red Centre.
It's really very beautiful! Although Uluru can no longer climb the rock after 2019/10, it is worth seeing this exhibition. The road along the road is dark. It is recommended to bring a small flashlight or use a mobile phone for lighting. Remember to bring thin long sleeves when the temperature difference between morning and evening is large.
