Reviews
Ketut is a fabulous and experienced trainer for my PADI Open Water. Bali Diving is a nice training center. The whole package is smooth and delicate. Pick up and drop off are clear. Will definitely come back again if there is any chance.
It took us a couple tries to find the right PADI certified dive shop for us and this was certainly Bali diving. Our instructor Ketut Letra was amazing, really good at his job, made us feel comfortable while learning how to dive and training us to get certified. The dive shop picked us up and dropped us back to our location each time, provided food (accommodated my vegan diet) and overall very friendly and hospitable staff working there. We had a great time and it was really fun to get certified for open water diving with them. Will definitely go back to them for more dives next time we visit.
For me it was the best experience ever. My diving teacher Ferry was the best and the whole team was absolutly fantastic. It kinda felt like a big family. The diving sites where incredible, i couldn't have asked for more.
I stayed in Legian and pickup was around 7am each morning. It is a 20mins drive to the Diving center (Bali Diving, near Sanur) , before heading out to the dive locations. Address: Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai No.46E, Sanur Kauh, Denpasar Selatan, Kota Denpasar, Bali 80025, Indonesia Rough itinenary: Day 1 - pool session at a nearby conservation center. Ended at around 1pm+ and had lunch. Returned to Diving center at 1pm+. Day 2 - dive at blue lagoon (boat dive). About 1 hour drive from the Diving center. 2 dives + lunch, returned to Diving center at around 2/3pm. There is a relatively clean shower station at the restaurant; shampoo and soap is provided. Day 3 - dive at liberty ship wreck (beach dive). About 2hr 30mins drive from Diving center. 1st dive, lunch, 2nd dive. Returned to Diving center at around 4:30pm. There is only a open area to wash down, and toilet cubicles for changing clothes. Day 2 and day 3 locations might be swapped around depending on the schedule. Instructors (Tut and Ali) are very professional and fun at the same time! Took the open water course, and got my PADI certification at the end of the 3rd day :)
What a great place to learn diving. My instructor Ari took me for my open water dives. He’s a funny yet professional instructor. Made sure all safety procedures were in places and made sure that I was competent before going into the water. The communication with my dive centre prior, during and after my dives were also so stress free. All queries were answered. It really felt so simple. Can’t recommend this place enough. The dive locations were amazing as well.
great diving experience & open water course. padang bay and tulamben nice for this course. thanks to Ketut Ari as friendly and professional instructor!
Highly recommend Bali Diving to anyone that wants to get their PADI certification! Really friendly and helpful instructors and drivers. Staff was prompt at replying messages and booking was confirmed with ease. You can rent a GoPro at their dive shop to document your underwater adventures :)
I am very grateful to my coach Ali, who taught me attentively and reminded me of many techniques. Makes me more confident about diving. Friends who are learning AOW suggest adding a little money to go diving in Nasu Penida the next day. It is very worth it!
Thanks to my coach Ketut, thank you to Bali diving! He is a very professional coach who took the certification for his first dive. The original coach was changed to a two-day course due to illness. Later, the coach gave me the choice of learning slowly with two German boys. Of course I chose the former if I went directly to the sea to dive! And getting to know two teammates was a great experience, and the underwater world is beautiful! The diving center provides myopia glasses, but Klook’s customer service staff said they don’t have them, so the actual situation should prevail.
Would highly recommend this centre to anyone looking to take their open water cert. Did not have any proper diving experience prior to the course, but my instructor Ketut was patient and guided me through the course smoothly. Everything from transport to meals was well taken care of, and I was guided safely throughout the all the ow sessions. Thank you guys!!
