Sababay Winery Tour with Wine Tasting in Bali

Booking was easy through the Klook app. Booked our driver Gusto who was on time, stayed throughout the tour and very accommodating. Winery was interesting and educational. Our guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions. Really enjoyed the wine tasting and cheese platter, cassava chips and beautiful setting indoors. Definietely recommend doing the tour. Great to be supporting a locally grown and supplied winery 😀.

The guide is friendly and good at introducing. In the package, we got 4 wine testing with wine’s introduction together with chocolate plates.

We had a really fun and interesting time! It was a 1-to-1 guided tour, which made the experience feel more personal, and we learnt a lot throughout the tour. Our guide was also very kind and generous in letting us sample the different wines while guiding us through each one. During the cocktail workshop, the trainer was equally kind and patient, taking the time to guide us through the process step by step. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun, informative and interactive experience!

1. The winery's wine quality is not good; none of their wines use oak barrels, the body is very light, and there's no discernible aroma. 2. We booked the "Garden Tasting" tour, but we were seated indoors, while another group on the same tour was placed in the garden. 3. Paying TWD 9xx per person for four glasses of wine and a cheese platter is not worth it. If you really want to go, consider other platforms that offer a tour for TWD 3xx per person with three glasses of wine.

Booking the "Saba Experience" at this winery/distillery in Ubud, Bali, was an exceptional choice. We were taken behind the scenes to witness the craftsmanship involved in producing vodka from grapes/white wine, which was truly fascinating. The experience included tasting sessions of their various spirits, expertly guided by their bartender who helped us craft personalized cocktails. Alongside, we enjoyed light, complementary food that complemented the tasting perfectly. It was a memorable and enriching experience that showcased both the artistry and hospitality of Bali's spirits scene. Something not to be missed if you enjoy drinking.
