Shuiguan Great Wall

The Shuiguan Great Wall is the eastern section of the Badaling Great Wall, supervised and built by Qi Jiguang of the Ming dynasty. It got its name because a river originally flowed through beneath the arrow tower. The wall is built along the mountain in a V-shape with a steep slope, offering great climbing enjoyment. Compared to the main scenic area of Badaling, it has fewer crowds and provides an immersive experience of the authentic Ming Great Wall style, making it an excellent choice for hiking and photography.
