What to expect
Discover Romania, one of Europe’s oldest wine countries, through selected local wines. Choose your experience: 3 wines (white, rosé and red) paired with a delicious cheese platter, or 4 wines (two whites, a rosé and a red) paired with a three-course dinner by a professional chef.
Your host is an exceptional sommelier: jury member at international competitions including the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, and at the Best Sommelier of Romania and Best Sommelier of Europe contests; WSET certified; former director of Wine & Spirit Club magazine; member of the European Order of the Knights of Wine.
He’ll explain each wine’s origin, grape and how to taste it like a pro, with stories about Romania’s history and geography. All in a cozy Bucharest venue.
Good to know
The venue is a 4-minute walk from Timpuri Noi metro station, easy to reach from the city center. Our venue is right next to Trofic Timpuri Noi coffee shop. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in before the tasting starts. Ask your sommelier which Romanian wines to look for in shops and restaurants during your stay. Choose the cheese pairing for a perfect start to an evening out, or the dinner option for a complete night of food and wine.
