Cancellation policy

• You'll get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hour(s) before the activity date (destination local time)
• No refund will be issued in case of unforeseen events or extreme weather caused the following condition: Some of the activities are cancelled
• If you've participated in at least one activity, visited at least one attraction or used one of the tickets, refunds can't be issued
• Refunds can't be issued for any participants who are late by 5 minutes or more

Redemption information

• [Important Notice] Passport numbers are required when boarding the icebreaker "GARINKO GO III・IMERU". Please make sure to bring your passport on the day of boarding or note your passport number in advance. Staff members will ask for your passport number on that day. Please note that if you are unable to provide your passport number, you will not be able to board the ship.
• Please note that only Japanese service is provided. Translation services are available for languages other than Japanese. A bus guide will not accompany the tour, but Japanese-speaking staff will be on board.
• Because drift ice is a natural phenomenon, its viewing time is difficult to predict and cannot be guaranteed. It is usually most common from late January to early March. The viewing of drift ice may be affected by the weather or coastal conditions and might not be possible; please be aware of this in advance.
• Tour without lunch: If the drift ice sightseeing icebreaker is canceled due to weather or other reasons, a refund of 5,000 yen for adults / 4,000 yen for children will be issued, and an alternative visit to the Okhotsk Tokkari Center "Giza" (Okhotsk Ice Science Center) will be arranged. If Monbetsu cannot be reached due to road conditions: a refund of 5,000 yen for adults / 4,000 yen for children will be issued, and an alternative visit to the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival will be arranged (includes the admission fee for the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival). Tour with lunch: If the drift ice sightseeing icebreaker is canceled due to weather or other reasons, a refund of 5,000 yen for adults / 4,000 yen for children will be issued, and an alternative visit to the Okhotsk Tokkari Center "Giza" (Okhotsk Ice Science Center) will be arranged. If Monbetsu cannot be reached due to road conditions: a refund of 7,000 yen for adults / 6,000 yen for children will be issued, and an alternative visit to the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival will be arranged (includes the admission fee for the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival). *We cannot provide meals (lunch). The refunded amount already includes the meal fee, so please arrange your own lunch.
• Infants (0-2 years old) are required to pay a fee and will be provided with a seat. Sitting on a companion's lap is not permitted. For those who choose the "with meal" plan, no separate infant-specific meals will be provided on-site. Parents are free to prepare their own or share their meals.
• Idetsuka Fisheries store closed days: February 2, February 15, and February 23, 2026. On store closed days, the itinerary will only arrange lunch inside the facility, and the souvenir shop will not be open for shopping. Thank you for your understanding.
• Due to adjustments in bus operations, the buses and crew for both the outbound and return trips may be subject to change. Please be aware of this in advance.
• Please be sure to arrive at the designated location 10 minutes in advance. To avoid delaying subsequent schedules, we will not wait for late arrivals. We will not contact you in advance, so please arrive at the gathering point on time.
