Reviews
Reviews summarytruly magical - one of the best experiences in NZ. the surrounding is surreal, it is really not from the ordinary earth. the tour comes with behind the scene recap and story which will make your journey more amazing
The tour included 2 activities: the Waitomo cave and Hobbiton movie set. Both were amazing. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to take any pics inside the cave but we did take a lot of pics of the Hobbiton thou. Worth every penny spent that day!
The driver who picked us up used a minibus with more than ten seats, which made for a very comfortable ride from the city to Hobbiton. The guided tour of Hobbiton was very clear, the only drawback was that the time was a little short, and we couldn't stay too long, but the length of the visit is uniformly regulated, so there was nothing we could do, since there are many tourists. If you like "The Lord of the Rings," you must come and see it, as it realistically recreates the scenes from the movie. The workmanship of the small accessories is super detailed, and the souvenirs are also great to buy!
We only have one family not taking the bus, they'll just take one car there and back. When we get to Habi Cai, they will use a large bus to take everyone there. We contacted the driver beforehand using WeChat.
All good. Awesome experience. Enjoying the things and super helpful
Our driver, Leo, was very attentive. He started contacting us even before we left the country, and he was very careful to help us collect and keep our tickets safe on the road. Thank you very much!
Great experience! The tour guide was kind and friendly. They explained a lot about New Zealand to us, thank you!
Driver was nice and on time. We all enjoyed the Waitomo caves and Hobbiton set tours and glad we didn’t have to drive ourselves!
The experience was very informative. The view was very picturesque as well. Our tour guide, Pete, had a very good sense of humor and patient with some of the roudy people in our group.
We were notified by email in advance of the departure time from the hotel in the morning. The tour guide was very punctual and friendly and arranged for us to go to the Stalactite Cave to see the fireflies first. Then the tour guide took us to a small town in the middle of Habi Village for an hour of lunch. Finally, we participated in a nearly two-hour tour at 15:40. The visit time to Habi Village is well arranged. Although the drive in between takes about 2 hours, it is well worth a visit.
Good to know
