Other Reminders
- Accommodation on Amantani is basic, with simple rooms, beds, and several heavy blankets. Shared toilets are provided, but hot water and showers are not available
- Guests will be served homemade Andean-style meals
- The 1-hour uphill hike to the temples at 4,130 m requires good fitness. Guests may instead explore the lower island or hire a local motorcycle taxi for around USD 5
- Guests with heavy luggage are advised to ask their Puno hotel to store it, as only a small backpack is needed for the overnight stay
- Please note that meals include lunch and dinner on Day 1, and breakfast and lunch on Day 2
