- The Dadongtian Scenic Area is located at the foot of Nanshan Mountain, west of Sanya City, facing the vast South China Sea. It is the oldest scenic spot on Hainan Island. The scenic area was founded in the Southern Song Dynasty and has a history of over 800 years, earning it the reputation of "the first scenic spot of Qiongya for eight hundred years."
