What to expect
Leave the center of Kyoto and enjoy a half-day whitewater rafting adventure on the Hozugawa River. After a safety briefing from an English-speaking guide, paddle through thrilling rapids while enjoying the lush scenery of the Hozukyo Gorge. In calmer sections, you can optionally swim or jump into the river. Choose between a 9:00 AM or 1:30 PM departure time to fit your sightseeing plans in Kyoto or Arashiyama. The guide will take photos throughout the experience, and all tour photos are provided at no additional charge. The rafting base is equipped with clean changing rooms and hot showers.
