The Permanent Collection Ticket

- High school students and individuals under 18 years old are admitted free of charge (this also applies to alternative schools)
- Seniors aged 70 and older are admitted free of charge (proof of age showing your date of birth is required)
- Visitors with disabilities and their required caregivers (up to the same number of persons) are admitted free of charge (a Disability Certificate or the Mirairo ID smartphone application is required)
- This voucher cannot be used along with other coupons
- In the event of inclement weather, we may have to cancel operations. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any travel expenses incurred to reach the venue in such cases
- A separate ticket is required to view special exhibitions
- Please check the Nara National Museum website for detailed exhibition information
- If you hold a special exhibition ticket, you do not need to purchase a Masterpieces Exhibition ticket (the special exhibition ticket grants access to the Masterpieces Exhibition as well
- The museum will remain open if Monday falls on a national holiday or a substitute holiday, and will close on the following weekday instead
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue
- Pets are not allowed inside the venue, with the exception of service animals with valid identification
