What to expect
This is the only active sake brewery remaining in Hakata, where traditional sake brewing methods are still practiced today. It is affectionately known as “Hakata Hyakunen蔵” by the local community and is a registered tangible cultural property that has preserved its charm for over 150 years since the Meiji era. Its traditional white-walled storehouse and brick chimney are a beloved part of the city’s landscape.
