Yaoyong Botanical Garden

Guizhou Province's only themed botanical garden, integrating scientific research, popular science education, and tourism, featuring botanical science content, landscape art aesthetics, rich traditional Chinese medicine culture, and the unique medicinal plant resources of Guizhou. The park covers an area of over 700 mu, with a vegetation coverage rate exceeding 60%, cultivating more than 2,000 kinds of medicinal plants. It includes specialized gardens such as the Miao Medicine Garden, Taxus Garden, Lycoris Garden, Cherry Blossom Garden, and Camellia Garden. It also houses Guizhou Province's first professional popular science museum for traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine – the Guiyang Medicinal Resources Museum.
