Participant Notice

Dog Health & Registration Requirements

• Vaccination & Licensing: All dogs must be vaccinated against rabies, hold a valid dog license issued by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), and be microchipped.
• Inspection: The organizer will conduct random checks at the entrance. Participants must present a copy or photo of the dog license and vaccination record. Failure to do so will result in denial of entry without a refund.

Strictly Prohibited Dog Breeds

• Aggressive fighting dogs or breeds defined by law as fighting dogs are strictly prohibited on board. This includes Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosas, Dogo Argentinos, Fila Brasileiros, or any crossbreeds involving these fighting strains.

Onboard Safety & Liability

• For safety reasons, dog owners must properly care for and supervise their dogs at all times. All dogs must be kept on a leash while on the vessel. Do not allow dogs to climb the sides of the boat.
• In the unfortunate event of injuries resulting from dog fights, participants must bear full responsibility. The organizer and The Star Ferry Company, Limited shall not assume any legal liability or compensation.
• Participants must strictly comply with the Dogs and Cats Ordinance (Cap. 167), the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance (Cap. 169), the Rabies Ordinance (Cap. 421), their subsidiary legislation, and all other relevant laws at all times.

Right to Evict (No Refund)

• On-site staff reserve the right to request a participant and their dog to leave the venue immediately, without a refund, if the dog exhibits any of the following during the event:
• The dog lacks a microchip and/or vaccination record.
• The dog is found to be ill during the event.
• The dog behaves aggressively toward other participants or dogs.
• The participant is unable or fails to control their dog.

Venue Rules & Hygiene

• Hygiene: Please keep the environment clean and sanitary. Do not allow dogs to foul the venue.
• Restricted Areas: Dogs are only permitted on the upper deck and are strictly prohibited from entering the lower deck.
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the STAY BAR during the event.
• Environmental Protection: Do not litter! Protecting the marine environment is everyone's responsibility.
• Personal Property & Health: Participants are responsible for their own belongings. If you feel unwell, please wear a mask.

Cancellation & Final Decisions

• No Refund for Cancellation: No refunds will be issued if a participant decides to cancel their attendance.
• Compliance: Participants must prioritize safety and adhere to all venue safety guidelines and regulations for all activities within the STAY BAR.

Final Say: STAY BAR reserves the right of final decision on all matters.
