Unique Workshop Experience by The HangArt in Da Nang

What an amazing facility!!! I am so happy I got to experience this! The building is quite spacious and each workshop has its own room. I did the wood carving workshop. The environment is very relaxing and tranquil. You pick a woodblock shape of your choice and draw your design with a pencil and then begin chipping away. It was my first time but the lady was nice and taught me how to use the chisel. We practiced on a separate piece of wood first until I felt confident to do it on my own. There’s also a shop with their handmade items and a cafe inside. After I was done, I bought a few trinkets and an iced coffee and sat in a cozy corner. It was a really creative and fun way to spend the day especially when it’s too hot outside. Highly recommend!!!

This was truly an amazing experience! I never expected Da Nang to have such an artistic place with incredible aesthetics. It's surrounded by gardens, and every space on this entire floor has a different purpose, from embroidery and handmade notebooks to massages, clothing displays, essential oil making, and a cafe. The handmade notebook workshop I experienced was divided into two parts. One part involved making paper from scratch and collecting flowers and plants from the garden to use as decorations, which was incredibly therapeutic ❤️. The other part involved choosing your favorite paper and learning how to create ancient-style books, along with creatively designing the front and back covers. I really enjoyed that too! 🥰

Was commuting from Hoi An to Danang Airport but decided to make a quick stop here but I really loved this place, wished I had a lot more time here. It’s a beautiful and quiet space created with many kind staff that are friendly. Did the Scarf printing with Trang where you get to pick the flowers from their garden, Thao was very nice to help with the finishing touches of drying it. And Notebook making with Tien, allowing your creativity to make the book cover with many tools and materials available. Both ladies are great at explaining the steps in English, and they let you take your time and do the things at your own pace without rushing you. While waiting for your scarf, there’s also a nice cafe serving drinks and food by differently abled staff. Do note to give the scarf printing some buffer time. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back to revisit.

I had a really enjoyable time at the HangArt. Ms. Ngoc was incredibly friendly, and accommodating, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming. After the workshop, we did the foot soak and foot massage, and it was so relaxing. It was the perfect way to unwind and complete the experience. I left feeling refreshed, happy, and with new skills to take home. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for something both educational and relaxing. (They have many kinds of workshops) They also have a small cafe with boardgames.

I attended a bookbinding workshop and loved it! The instructor patiently guided us through selecting leather, folding pages, and stitching the spine. It was incredibly relaxing and beginner-friendly. I walked away with a beautiful, personalized, handmade journal. It is the perfect unique souvenir or meaningful gift. Highly recommended for creatives!

The hangar environment is unique. The class was simple and engaging, and the instructor, Thanh Thao, was kind and friendly.
