Not only did they take us to the places listed on the schedule, but they also took us to Kanya Hot Water Springs (admission fee paid by us) and Nilaveli Beach. We were able to stop twice for fruit juice breaks, and considering the hassle of negotiating on our own, it was definitely worth using their service.
The description said air-conditioned vehicle. A tuk-tuk arrived! Unfortunately, it was also not possible to talk to the driver because of the driving noise. On the afternoon tour, 2 temples were closed due to prayer time. I wonder why such a tour is even offered? We came to one temple again at the end, then it was open. Then the driver told me that the tour was now over and I asked where Fort Frederick was? He showed me a picture from Google with a gate entrance and said that we had been there, the whole area there is called that. Then we also drove to a Navy Base and he asked if we could go in. Of course not, only Navy personnel. He should have known that. So for me, questions upon questions on the tour and much too expensive for the price with a tuk-tuk.
