What to expect
Gayageum class: 3 days (50 minutes each) Instrument provided Class conducted in English Introduction to Korean traditional music and the Gayageum Learn basic playing techniques Play a K-pop song like “Golden” or a traditional piece such as “Arirang” Play the Gayageum while wearing a hanbok Hanbok photo session included One Instax mini photo included
Day 1: Understanding & Touch Introduction to the Gayageum (history, structure, sound), listening to traditional pieces, tuning basics, posture, and fundamental techniques.
Day 2: Basic Performance Review, learn the Korean pentatonic scale, and play simple folk songs like Arirang.
Day 3: Expression & Sharing Refine your piece, explore rhythm variations, and record your performance while wearing a beautiful hanbok.
