Great experience, the place is massive and beautiful, I spend over four hours there. I couldn’t see the gate at Tiannen, but it was a good experience anyway. It was said to enter by a lateral entrance, but I saw people entering from the Tiannen square. If someone book it, make a enquiry about it.

It's vast and beautiful, but there were a lot of people. Unfortunately, it rained on the day I visited, but there are many exhibition areas inside to explore. It's definitely worth a visit.

It was impossible to book the tickets myself so I chose to book through klook in advance. There is no qr code needed, you simply have to show your passport at the entrance. The only problem we had was we did not get the audio guide link. But we contacted the staff via WeChat and got immediate help. So it's not a big problem at all. The place is big and grand. Be prepared to walk a lot. There is eating place inside but you have to ask. There are not many signs.

The subway station is a bit of a walk from the Forbidden City, but there are plenty of food vendors along the way, which is very convenient. When entering the park, you only need to bring your identification, but please pay attention to the ID number. There will be a security check upon entry. We recommend entering the park at 8:30 AM to avoid the crowds.

We took our children to visit, and the overall experience was excellent. During peak season, you need to book tickets 7 days in advance. You can simply present your passport at the ticket gate for redemption, which is very convenient. 👍
