Highly, highly recommend! My family loved it! 💕 1. The instructor was incredibly professional. 2. We learned about Amis indigenous culture. 3. We gained a clear understanding of hunting knowledge. 4. The archery experience was very fun. 5. We tried on Amis traditional clothing. 6. We experienced making bamboo rice, grilling wild boar, and tasting wild vegetable soup (it was super delicious!). 7. Millet wine was all-you-can-drink (so happy!). P.S. Please do not drink alcohol if you are under 18. Drinking harms your health, but not drinking makes you sad. Highly, highly recommend! The kids at home loved it! 👍
The activity guide was very friendly. He first introduced the traditional culture of the Amis people, then made bamboo rice, and then helped us change into traditional costumes and gave us time to take photos. Later, we experienced archery, which was fun! Then he introduced the traps for capturing prey in the mountains, experienced fishing nets, gathered together to grill small pieces of meat, tried millet wine, and then ate the bamboo rice we made ourselves. It had a light bamboo flavor and was not bad. Because the activity was moved to a new venue, the facilities were not yet very complete, but it did not affect our experience. If there is a chance, I would like to go again😍
Experience: Great experience and insights Instructor: The instructor teaches very seriously Location: Near the beach Safety: Very safe
Excellent experience learning about 1 of the 16 aboriginal groups of Taiwan and experiencing wearing their cultural dress, cooking bamboo rice, setting up traps and practicing archery. We also got to try traditional rice wine. Instructor was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended cultural experience!
Our guide, A-Jie, is a very dedicated person. He is meticulous, conscientious, and incredibly professional. He made my elderly parents and me feel so welcome and comfortable. Even though we were his only group, he was still incredibly attentive and made us feel at ease.
Making bamboo rice is fun, and experiencing the traditional Amis costumes is more complicated than expected but worth it. The barbecue is delicious, but it's a pity that you have to be a group guest to make mochi. Two hours passed very fully!
Xiao Wang Zi did a great job introducing us to the different aspect of their indigenous cultures. We had lots of fun experiencing their unique and beautiful traditions
It was cold and drizzling on the second day of the Lunar New Year, but the staff were incredibly enthusiastic, leading us through an immersive experience of Amis tribal life. There was never a dull moment. We made bamboo rice and enjoyed a healthy wild vegetable soup. Both adults and children loved the bamboo rice, which had a subtle bamboo aroma and a chewy texture. As a mom, I particularly enjoyed the sweet and savory wild vegetable soup. The kids loved grilling meat and marshmallows, and the archery and fishing/hunting skill experiences were fun. It's definitely worth spending half a day on this experience. Booking here was convenient and easy to use, making it a worthwhile purchase.
I highly recommend it. Although the weather is hot, the instructor taught us the aboriginal costumes, dances, bamboo rice, archery and traditional costumes. It was very interesting and worth enduring such hot weather. The classroom is next to the coast, which is a good place to take pictures. It is endless and very natural to take pictures. I recommend that those who are interested can go and experience it.
This time I was alone, and the teacher proactively helped me take pictures. The teacher explained things very carefully. With food and drinks, it's very suitable for a group of friends or a children's school trip! Highly recommended.
