- Founded in 1677, Yamamoto Honke Brewery is a prestigious Kyoto Fushimi sake brewery with a 350-year history, passing down brewing techniques from the Edo period through generations.
The brewery is adjacent to "Shiragiku-sui," one of Fushimi's seven famous waters, and uses mineral-rich soft water to brew its mellow and elegant classic "onna-shu" (women's sake).

This was awesome experience. The tour hosts were amazing always explaining in detail how everything works when comes to making sake. They let you try multiple different sakes and believe me when I say you wont be disappointed.
