K-Beauty Lipstick Making Experience in Seoul by VIC'S LAB KOREA

I love finding different workshops in Korea to do and this one did not disappoint. It was so much fun choosing colours and then mixing them. Perfect shade of lipstick being the reward. Staff was very helpful, they also gave advice on which colour suits me best. Highly recommend doing this workshop!

I had a wonderful experience today in making lipsticks. The ladies were very helpful and guided me to do the right Thing. They even took photos and videos for me so that I can capture this whole experience as my memory. The place is very neat and clean. Instructions are also very clear. they even help me in taking the lipsticks out of the mould to ensure I have the perfect lipstick without any cracks. they have a few cute and unique options options to change the case of the lipstick. I was a bit late, so they made sure they contacted me which I really appreciate. Usually, the reservations are cancelled in such scenarios. I really like them handling this personal level. For me, it was 10/10 experience.

It was my first time to experience making lipstick, it was quite interesting! The process was very good, the staff would guide me, and I could ask any questions at any time. The only thing I didn't like was that I also wanted to upgrade the lipstick shell. I knew I had to pay extra before I went, but the staff didn't ask me. They only emphasized to the guests next to me that your experience includes the shell, and you can choose the pattern yourself. I also want a beautiful shell, even though I looked at it for a long time and went to see it twice, and wanted to upgrade to a certain design, but the staff still didn't take the initiative to tell me or ask me if I wanted the shell, as if I would definitely not spend money to upgrade... So I was not very satisfied with this part. In addition, the itinerary said that drinks were included. I don't know if I misunderstood what was written above or if there was a problem with the translation. I didn't get a drink at the time.

My friend and I have visited all the way from Denmark, and this was one of the best experiences we’ve had in Seoul! The lovely people working there was sweet, patient and answered all of our questions with a smile! We both had such a great time, especially because the people there made the experience super comfortable! They were also really professional and helped us pick out the shades perfectly. They even talked to us about color theory, when it came down to our skin tones! This was something me and my friend were really positively surprised about, and super happy about! We couldn’t stop talking about it the next couple of days! We’ve both been wearing our lipsticks none stop since making them! Really amazing experience! And we would also like to say a great thanks to everyone working there, both the owner and all her amazing coworkers! They were amazing at their job and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Truly, thank you! We will talk to all of our friends about you guys and recommend your business! ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter really enjoyed this experience. The staff are so friendly and funny, caring and helpful. The lipsticks that were made are really good quality and made with completely natural materials.

The experience was pleasant in general - it wouldn’t be possible at all as I got the wrong direction on subway and was 15 min late and it was my fault totally as it was my mistake, but I was still kindly allowed to get in and I really appreciate it. However, I felt that my experience was way more rushed than the others, although I ended up finishing my lipsticks before the rest. I was not explained I could choose different shades and mix them however I wanted to, I felt I was pushed to 2 different colours and to move on quickly. Also when I asked for help in terms of proportions of the colors I was literally told “you mixed it, you should know it” which I replied that it’s not the same to test the colors on your hand than in the tube? The quality of the pigment felt oily, even though I shaked the tubes for a while the density of the colors was still oily. Also, note that you can’t swatch the colours on your lips, which is probably logical and theres a reason behind, but testing colors on your hand is not the same as testing it on your lips. To sum up, I still enjoyed it as it was somehow creative and it’s a very unique experience and again, the host was very flexible to accept me although I was late.

location a bit far from Hongdae, but not difficult to find, the workshop is easy to handle, multiple color selection to fit own skin color, chinese and cantonese speaking helpers are helpful and our lipsticks are very successful, happy experience.

What I like about the lipstick product is that it is organic. Also, the instructor was very nice. We were able to make lipsticks that fit our personalities. We can also pick our own lipstick holder design but with additional price.

This was one of the best experiences of my trip!!! I made my perfect shade of lipstick and I LOVE IT!!!! it ward well and I love the scents and cases I picked too. We were treated really well and shown how to do everything.The hosts spoke English and overall communicated very well. Highly recommend this exclusive.

The staff are very nice and lovely. They can communicate in both Chinese and English. They will give suggestions on which colors are suitable. You can choose a more beautiful lipstick case for extra money.
