Labuan Bajo Half-Day Sunset Tour

It was a perfect experience, from airport pickup to boarding the boat and heading out to sea. We snorkeled and admired the exquisite underwater world, seeing various marine fish, sea turtles, starfish, and small sharks. After watching the sunset, we were incredibly impressed by thousands of bats flying into the sky. After disembarking, we were taken to our hotel. The service from East Cruise was simply perfect; the front desk staff, tour guides, captain, lifeguards, and transfer drivers were all warm and attentive. Their kind smiles and skilled service left a deep impression on us.

Itinerary: The schedule was very well-arranged, with ample time at each stop. We didn't waste too much time, but also got to fully enjoy each location. Safety: It felt very safe. The guide and local staff were very attentive, and during snorkeling, they insisted we stay together and not venture off alone. Scenic Spots Along the Way: The weather was also excellent. We saw a beautiful sunset and a stunning 'ten thousand blessings returning home' (referring to a natural phenomenon or a specific scenic view). It feels like I've checked off another worthwhile item on my life's bucket list.

Overall very enjoyable tour. Very friendly and helpful guides and crew. There was some delays before boarding the ship but then again it's beyond the tour's control. The time crunch meant I didn't have enough time to hike the small hill in Kelor Island. It'd be great to have less destinations but with more time to enjoy each of them.

My overall experience with your company's tour was extremely poor, and I am very disappointed with the quality of service. First, the tour guide's service attitude was terrible. Not only did they lack basic professionalism, but they also deliberately mispronounced our names with a sarcastic and mocking tone, which felt clearly disrespectful and even had racial undertones, making us very uncomfortable. Second, this package clearly included round-trip transfer service, but no one contacted us proactively before the activity to confirm the transfer details. We had to contact the vendor ourselves, but we never received a timely response. Our meeting time was 2 PM, and we only managed to reach the vendor at 1:45 PM to confirm the pickup location. The entire arrangement was chaotic and caused significant anxiety for the travelers. Furthermore, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional fee at the activity site, which the vendor stated was for the Fox National Park entrance ticket. However, this fee was not clearly communicated in the itinerary description beforehand, nor was it included in the package price. This meant we hadn't prepared enough cash in advance, which caused considerable inconvenience on site. If this is a mandatory fee, it should have been clearly stated on the booking page or in the pre-trip notification so that travelers could prepare in advance, rather than being informed of the charge only upon arrival. What was even more unacceptable was the return arrangement. After disembarking, the tour guide left directly without confirming whether all travelers had successfully boarded the shuttle. The return driver was also nowhere to be found, leaving us stranded at the pier. We tried to contact customer service multiple times but were unable to get assistance. Customer service also did not proactively follow up to confirm if we had safely returned to the hotel. The overall service was a serious dereliction of duty. Throughout the entire trip, from the transfer arrangements and on-site guidance to customer service support, everything felt very perfunctory and lacked responsibility, completely failing to meet the service quality expected from a paid tour. The tour guide's alleged racially discriminatory remarks and behavior were particularly unacceptable. I hope your company will address these issues, review and improve the tour guide's service attitude, the lack of prior notification for additional fees, the transfer arrangements, and the customer service process. I also expect a reasonable explanation and resolution to prevent other travelers from having the same unpleasant experience.
