Very fun experience! Small plates are included in the price, though you can purchase larger plates or bowls of you want too. The team spoke very good English. We bought our tickets from Klook which was simple, I would recommend using what3words to find the location though as this is easier to find this way ///debt.promises.pinch
this was really fun and a unique experience. the instructors were helpful but let us be independent as well. we really enjoyed learning about the history and making our own souvenir. we did choose bowl/plate that was extra, but they had great options included in the price. I would definitely do this again!
It has been a wonderful experience. The staff has been super friendly and attentive. They explained the step-by-step process and stayed with us. Very approachable and pleasant. We enjoyed it a lot. The result is very beautiful, and the process was fantastic. It was my first time, I have no prior experience, and it was very entertaining. We enjoyed it! ARIGATO!
A refreshing and creative way to learn about and appreciate Japanese culture! coming in from the heat of the bustling streets and finding this bright, cool studio was a welcome relief - we got to choose our plate designs, crack the plates the way we wanted, applied the lacquer and gold powder, and come away with our own unique souvenir! Jeff, our guide, taught us about the history of kintsugi and how it’s connected to wabi-sabi, and provided an entertaining and easy to follow experience, done in several languages! My family and I enjoyed it immensely!
This was such a great workshop! Very laid back and fun. Haru was a great guide who walked us through the meaning of kintsugi and wabi sabi and then guided us through each of the steps. He took a lot of care in making sure our piece was beautiful and well done. Highly recommend!
Had a so much fun doing this. Tobi was really helpful with the process. When doing Kintsugi, remember there’s no mistakes, only happy accidents! ✨iykyk.
Very fun and easy little workshop to both break and repair some crockery. They speak good english and its easy to locate. We love the souvenirs we made and had so much fun breaking and repairing them. Staff were very nice too and gave good food recommendations.
We had the best time doing Kintsugi with this company. They had the best guides, most patient, individual attention, and very well-instructed, clear, and detailed explanation on how to go about it. Absolutely highly recommended. instructor: Both were superb equipment: very easy to use experience: wonderful, definitely worth it safety:100% safe
It was a great experience for the family and kids. They had nice items, good service, and it was very easy to find.
A wonderful experience to have while in Japan; it offers a cultural immersion and creates special moments, as well as a lovely personalised “mini plate” (it can be customised such as: bigger plate, a bowl, or any other nice design for additional price) to cherish as a forever remembrance.
