Valensole Lavender Full Day Tour from Marseille

Joined the trip at the end of June and the lavender blooms were great! We went to 4 lavender fields in total. There was an introduction to lavender at the small farm at the first stop. The town and lake in the afternoon were also very beautiful. The tour guide would add a little bit of local history along the way. Although the prices are slightly more expensive, they are places that are not easy to get to and are recommended for travelers without transportation!

The driver Benoit was very punctual in picking us up and explaining the features of each attraction, helping us take beautiful photos. During the entire trip, we saw many beautiful lavender fields and visited two beautiful villages. I highly recommend participating.

Definitely recommended. Our guide "Elias" was very helpful. From recommending the best spots to view lavender fields to taking most of my photos during the trip😆 Really enjoyed the tour especially swimming in the lakes of Sainte Croix du Verdon.

I joined the trip at the end of June. The lavender flowers were in great condition. I also saw sage and sunflowers on the roadside. The trip started from a small farm that produces and sells lavender for itself. We stopped at four lavender fields for a short time throughout the day so that everyone could get off the bus and take pictures freely. The town where we stopped for lunch and a walk in the afternoon was also very cute. The weather was really hot and the sun was very strong throughout the day. You have to prepare water yourself. The tour guide was also very careful when driving. Generally speaking, I would highly recommend it to friends who travel alone or do not rent a car! The only drawback is that "the itinerary is different from the actual visit location." We did not go to the Verdon Canyon as stated in the itinerary. In the afternoon, a group member asked the driver. It was unexpectedly discovered that everyone's itinerary had a trip to the canyon, but it was not the itinerary the driver was told. In the end, there was no conclusion, so the guests were asked to report to the seller on their own. (The driver said that going to the Verdon Canyon was last year's itinerary. It has been changed this year)

It was a really disappointing experience for us. First, the booking information was so confusing. I was asked to leave a pickup spot, and the itinerary was also saying we’d be picked up there, but by the time of the pickup time, no one showed up. I called to the customer service and we were asked to run to the meetup spot but could not be sure if the guide would wait for us! We ended up running to the meetup spot but didn’t receive a sorry. It made me feel like it was our fault rather than the platform’s fault! Then, the itinerary arrangement was really not ideal. Moustiers-Sainte-Marie had much more things to do but we were only able to have lunch there. The itinerary said that we would be brought to Verdon Canyon but in the end we were brought to an artificial lake for one hour, where not much activity we could do except taking photos. The local guide told us that she was sorry but she was told to bring us here rather than the Canyon. Based on the itinerary, I expected we would return at 18:00, but the local guide said she should bring us back to Marseille by 17:00. I have brought all the above mentioned issues in time with Klook customer service but so far the response was very confusing. I have to repeat the issues again and again and still could not get any appropriate response. I had enjoyed my experience with Klook until this experience. really disappointed.

i did enjoy the tour however the tour itinerary and tour title/what to expect does not match. i went for the tour expecting to visit aix-en-provence and valensole but end up going to valensole, moustiers & verde gorge. low review is because while The 2 locations are beautiful but I wanted to go aix-en-provence. contacted klook to ask why is there a discrepancy and there’s no immediate resolution or feedback.

This season, Lavender is really top-notch! 💜💜 But it’s really too little and too little time to stay in the lavender field (it may not be half an hour if you add it to the burial). On the contrary, it’s the other attractions that stay for a long time. But the other attractions are a little dull, and the itinerary didn’t mention the need to play in the water. The tour guide asked me if I wanted to play water sports.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a nice review to this tour due to wrong description of the itinerary on your website. (this is not related to the tour and the tour company and the tourguide itself) As per Klook the trip includes a visit to Aix-en-Provence, which is not at all true in reality. You must just change he itinerary description from your end, as this is a misguidance for your clients.
