Taiwan high-speed rail tickets

• This offer is only applicable to standard full-fare carriages. Weekday travel enjoys a 15% discount; holidays and national holidays are at original price. For more related regulations, please refer to the relevant instructions when adding high-speed rail tickets.
• Passengers holding child tickets, senior citizen tickets, or disability tickets must carry supporting documents for inspection by station staff. Child tickets, disability tickets, and senior citizen tickets are only available to passengers with Taiwanese nationality ID cards.

Ordering Regulations:

1. Number of Tickets:

The number of one-way tickets used can be at most equal to the number of users for the "travel component." For example, if you book 2 Penghu ferry tickets, you can add a maximum of 2 high-speed rail tickets.

2. Travel Component Destination Station:

The high-speed rail's 'outbound destination' and 'return departure point' must match the travel component's scenario. For example, if booking a Kaohsiung hotel, the outbound destination station is limited to Zuoying, and the departure station is not limited; conversely, for the return journey, the departure station is limited to Zuoying, and the destination station is not limited.

A. The destination station for components in the Kaohsiung-Pingtung area must be Zuoying Station. B. For components in the Taipei-New Taipei-Keelung area, you can choose among Nangang/Taipei/Banqiao three stations. C. For components in the Yilan-Hualien-Taitung area, you can choose among Nangang/Taipei/Banqiao/Zuoying four stations.

3. Ticket Travel Date:

The departure date for the outbound journey can be any day from the travel component's usage date (e.g., hotel check-in date) up to 3 days prior. The return travel date can be any day from the travel component's usage date (e.g., hotel check-out date) up to 4 days after. The total duration for outbound and return travel dates must not exceed seven days (e.g., for a stay on 1/10, check-out on 1/11, the high-speed rail outbound travel date can be any day from 1/7 to 1/10, and the high-speed rail return travel date can be any day from 1/11 to 1/15; or for a one-day tour on 1/10, the high-speed rail outbound travel date can be any day from 1/7 to 1/10, and the high-speed rail return travel date can be any day from 1/10 to 1/14).

How to add high-speed rail tickets

• Step 1: Add high-speed rail tickets on this page (please order outbound and return journeys separately), select the estimated departure date, ticket type, number of passengers, and other information.
• Step 2: Fill in complete information for ordering high-speed rail tickets in the next step.
• Step 3: After payment is completed, the order is still in an unconfirmed state. We will confirm whether the order complies with the ordering regulations and respond within 24 hours whether the order has been successfully placed. Once the order is confirmed, you can obtain the "booking code" and travel information on the voucher, and then pick up the tickets via the High-Speed Rail App.

How to pick up tickets

Online Ticket Collection:

• High-Speed Rail T-EX App: Please download and update the High-Speed Rail T-EX App Android; iOS. Use the “Load Booking” function to enter the “High-Speed Rail Booking Code (8 digits)” and the “last 4 digits of the ticket holder’s ID card or passport number” to pick up tickets online via the App.

Convenience Store Ticket Collection:

• Taiwan High-Speed Rail partner convenience stores (7-11, FamilyMart, Hi-Life, OK Mart) for ticket collection: A handling fee of TWD 10 per ticket is required.
• For those purchasing senior citizen or disability tickets, you must fill in the ID document number that qualifies for the ticket type at the time of booking. Identity verification will be performed when picking up tickets on-site.

Notes on Ticket Collection, Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

Changes and Cancellations of Tickets:

• Only cancellations and refunds are accepted. Please submit a cancellation request 24 hours before travel, and a handling fee of TWD 20 per ticket will be charged.
• If you miss the original high-speed rail train on the day of travel, no cancellation or refund is possible, but you can use the ticket to take a non-reserved seat on another train on the same day. (Please ask station staff for assistance to enter the non-reserved seat area through the manual gate; no ticket change is required).

Typhoon-related Refund Regulations

• From the date of issuance of a sea typhoon warning until its解除 (lifting), passengers who purchased train tickets for this period can apply for a refund with Klook using unused tickets within one year from the travel date, free of charge.
• If tickets have not been issued, it will be processed as a ticket cancellation. If mobile tickets have been collected, a screenshot must be sent to Klook customer service.

Other Purchasing this product will not generate a separate proof of purchase, and no application or inquiry for electronic ticket proof or travel records will be provided.
