My family and I enjoyed the cooking class. They made it easy by picking us up from our accommodation in the morning for a cyclo ride. For those scared of the Saigon traffic this is quite exciting! It’s a great way to experience the city. We were met at the markets by Van who met with different vendors to buy our produce. She showed us what to look for and it was great being able to buy more local products. At the cooking class Chef Vu was entertaining and informative. I liked how we each got to cook our own food, rather than just watching one person make the meal. it was a fun hands on experience and there was so much food to eat. I’d recommend this tour to friends visiting Saigon.
Amazing cooking experience! We got an early morning ride around the city before stopping at Ben Thanh market to shop for produce. Cooking class with Chef Vu was easy to follow and food was great! We learned so much and ate so well! :) highly recommended
The tricycle master will wait at the door of the hotel, and then you will have a very gentle and pleasant ride on the urban roads. The master will introduce the famous local buildings in simple English. Unfortunately, I didn't know in advance that I had to prepare a tip. I was notified at the last minute that I had to tip. I was a bit caught off guard. , I actually want to give more, but I don’t have any change at the moment. I feel very embarrassed towards Master. After visiting the city with a tricycle, we went to Penang Market for shopping. The English-speaking guide guided us on a quick and short tour of the market. It is recommended that if you want to go deeper into the local area, it is best to go shopping by yourself in advance. If you have any questions, you can ask on the day. The classroom is very close to Penang Market. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the chef, which is very interesting. Four dishes were cooked that day, and simple fruit carving decorations were also taught in the middle. There is a cooking classroom on the second floor, and you can take the prepared dishes to the restaurant on the first floor to eat.
Cyclo cooking class was truly a delightful experience. From the start, we had the unique experience on cyclo trishaw to tour around the area, followed by local tour to the Ben Thanh Market. The guide Lenney was friendly! We enjoyed the tour! The hands-on approach made the learning process engaging and accessible, even for someone with minimal cooking skills. The menu was simple. What sets this cooking class apart is its emphasis on using fresh ingredients and recipe to make simple meals for daily meals. And the practice for cutting skills to make food decorations. The class concluded with a communal meal, where we got to savor the fruits of our labor. We enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommended for anyone looking to spice up their cooking skills while exploring the vibrant food culture of Vietnam.
The cooking class with cyclo experience and market tour was awesome. Chef Vu and all other staff was very kind and accommodating. All the food the Chef taught us was very delicious. It was a very memorable experience.
It was the best travel activity I've ever done. First, they picked me up at my accommodation by cyclo, took me to the market to shop, and then I experienced the cooking with the chef. The whole process was impressive! I'll definitely go back next time.
Very interesting experience that able to understand the cooking method of Vietnamese food
Such a fun cooking class! In the morning, we took a tricycle tour around the city. We also experienced a guided tour of the local market and then went to the cooking class. The chef taught very carefully and interestingly, and there was a lot of food. We enjoyed it fully even if we didn't have breakfast. After that, we Finish with a cup of egg coffee! Perfect! Highly recommend this trip!
It's a very good activity, experience the human tricycle early in the morning (you have to live in a county to get a tricycle pick-up), wander around the busy urban area, the tricycle is very stable and safe. I also experience purchasing in the vegetable market, and cooking a dish in the kitchen. There is no problem with fluent English communication, and the dishes are easy to learn. It is an interesting experience!
Really good day. Started with a tour on the cyclo, they were really nice snapping photos on the way, then off to the market for ingredients. Chef Vu was excellent. Professional and food 5 star. Higly recommed .
