Reviews
The highlight of the trip was observing the wildlife, which gave us an unexpected surprise. Upon arriving at the Ronny Creek trail, we encountered several round wombats stretching and leisurely grazing, even brushing shoulders with many fellow travelers, which was truly delightful. Even while driving, the guide paid attention to the various small wild animals appearing along the way, including wallabies and pademelons, explaining Tassie wildlife knowledge to us, such as platypuses & echidnas being the only two egg-laying mammals in the world, which was very professional and attentive.
this trip is definitely not value for money. it is not really a worthwhile trip to go for. All you really get is 1. guide Kaitlyn is very nice and tried to explain to us the different spots to see a glimpse of the animals. 2. 90% of the time u are using a torchlight to shine into just dark bushes. 3. a van ride into the dark national park.4 a short walk around to catch the same few animals. I won’t recommend to family as the cost to value is bad but if a single person who doesn’t mind just experiencing what I said I think still ok. Overall the trip lacks much experiential value.
