Night tour of Aurora-Viewing Wooden Cabin in Yellowknife (English)

If your English is good, this itinerary is fantastic and highly recommended. The driver took us to an aurora cabin about a 20-minute drive from the city. From the parking lot, it was a 3-minute walk along a forest path to the cabin. Inside, there was a very warm and hospitable elderly lady who was baking bannock and making chowder while telling us about places to visit in Yellowknife. We chatted, ate, and drank for about an hour. Then, the driver came in and announced that the aurora had appeared. We put on the leather jackets and hats provided by the host and went outside to watch. You could walk around or sit on chairs outside the cabin, which was very pleasant.
