[Berry Farm Fun Picking] Route Overview:
First Stop: Saga Strawberry Picking At the end of the trip: Head to the berry farm with a relaxed and joyful mood to experience the fun of picking! The strawberries here are large and sweet, and eating them as you pick fills your mouth with a fresh, sweet taste.
Second Stop: Yutoku Inari Shrine Yutoku Inari Shrine is one of the three most revered Inari shrines among the approximately 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan, on par with Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto and Kasama Inari Shrine in Ibaraki. It is famous for its splendid and magnificent shrine architecture and its spectacular cliffside location.
Third Stop: Ouo Shrine Ouo Shrine is a very unique and niche shrine in Japan, with its most distinctive feature being the torii gate in the sea, known as the “torii floating on the sea.” Unlike the grandeur of Itsukushima Shrine, it appears more solitary and mysterious.
Fourth Stop: Takeo Onsen Street This is an ancient hot spring resort with over 1300 years of history. It is not an isolated hot spring inn, but a charming traditional district centered around hot springs, very suitable for tourists who want to experience Japanese hot spring culture and a leisurely atmosphere.

Reviews
Our guide made the day extra warmth. She explained every stop, the history and story behind. Made every location more interesting. She always ensure everybody in the group is looked after and interacted with everybody ensuring all our needs were looked after. The mini van was clean and comfortable for the entire ride. We travel in a small group of 9, very comfortable and efficient. The trip through the country side was pleasant with many interesting sights. Klook should have mentioned the exclusion of entry ticket for featured attractions.
We had a very fun day. Daisy Wu is very attentive tour guide and is very knowledgeable about the locations she brought us to.
Our guide and driver, Mr. Liu, was incredibly enthusiastic despite the hard work. A special thanks to him for recommending Takeo's Yudofu (boiled tofu), which was unexpectedly delicious and a must-try! Although we didn't visit Ouo Shrine during high tide, it was still quite beautiful! We highly recommend adding the strawberry picking tour; the strawberries were all very sweet, and it's all-you-can-eat!
Because today's high tides are around 6 AM and 6 PM, tour guide Wu Xia adjusted our itinerary so we could see the torii gate in the sea. Our first stop was enjoying delicious strawberries, and in the end, we successfully saw the sea torii gate ⛩️!
Our tour leader, Daisy, was very kind and took great photos. The only part of the itinerary that was a bit long was the round-trip drive and the trip to the strawberry farm, so you can take the opportunity to catch up on sleep 👍🏻. The strawberry variety was the Kaori strawberry from Mie Prefecture, which was fragrant and delicious 🍓. Highly recommended! ~
Bilingual Mandarin and English / Gentle and approachable spoken language, with excellent judgment, made for a perfect end to the trip. A great day trip! Highly recommended for tourists without a car!!
The itinerary is simple and not too strenuous, making it suitable for bringing elders along. The tour guide is also very nice and highly recommended. The strawberries are fresh and delicious, and you can eat your fill.
Our tour leader, Wu, was very enthusiastic and specifically checked the tide times and adjusted the itinerary accordingly, allowing us to see the most perfect sea shrine ⛩️. He introduced the scenic spots along the way, and was also a great bridge of communication when picking strawberries, allowing us to interact smoothly with the strawberry farmer 👩🌾. It was wonderful, and we are very grateful.
Our tour guide, Yang Meng, arranged the route very well and gave detailed explanations. First, she took us to the relatively distant Tori Gate of Three Birds, timed with the high tide, so we could capture beautiful scenery. We also ate all-you-can-eat strawberries until we were about to burst; they were fragrant, sweet, and delicious. It's a pity the ceramic museum we were going to visit was closed for the day.
The itinerary was well-planned, with ample time to visit each attraction. The tour guide, Yang Meng, was very attentive and detailed in her explanations, and she took great care of every member of the group. It was worth participating.
