The tour guide, CC, is very knowledgeable of Penang history, and he also shared more context on the different temples and Chinese associations in Penang. The tour itself allowed us to see the different cultures that have existed in Penang and how they live in harmony. The tour has given us a different perspective of Penang and how important it is to the trade routes back then and until today.

We had Ken as our tourguide and she was such a nice and knowledgeable guide. Very informative tour and we learned many interesting facts and stories about Penang. Thank you also for taking us to the best samosa in town. Highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to know more about George Town beyond what meets the eye!!

During this trip to Penang, I was fortunate enough to meet Hong Junjie, a local tour guide with immense charm. He is a native Nanyang Chinese of Teochew descent, and his love and understanding of this land runs deep. As we wandered through the old streets and historical sites, he not only demonstrated extensive knowledge of history and culture, but his interpretations of religion and folk customs were particularly professional and artistic, benefiting us greatly. As a true Penangite, his familiarity with the city's fabric was admirable, and he even thoughtfully prepared small gifts, which made the journey feel especially warm. Under his guidance, we not only saw the scenery but also understood the soul of Penang, making it a cultural feast that emphasized both knowledge and warmth.
