Lumiere Parfum Hongdae is our very first flagship store, where it all began. Established before the perfume atelier trend swept through Seoul, we have spent years refining our craft — building a reputation for exceptional customer experience and fragrance quality that we are truly proud of. Spread across two floors, Hongdae has welcomed K-pop artists, celebrities, and influencers who have come to create their own signature scents. It does not matter if you do not know much about scents — an expert perfumery specialist will guide you every step of the way. Explore over 30 fragrances, experience the six-step blending process, and create a fragrance that truly expresses yourself.

A must-try experience in Korea! I booked through Klook, and it started promptly, with no wait. The studio was spotless, and the perfume-making class was very informative. Instructions were easy to follow, and I ended up with the scent I desired in a nice bottle. Kudos to my instructor, Ryy Gwang Hyon! I highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for a unique alternative to sightseeing, shopping, and dining while in Korea.

This was a fantastic perfume DIY experience. The store environment was comfortable and easy to find. The music and lighting created a great ambiance. The staff member was very friendly and professional, patiently communicating with us using a translator throughout the process. I really love the perfume I made. It's definitely worth a visit.
I really enjoyed this perfume-making session! As someone who is struggling to find the perfect scent that is according to my liking, being introduced to different scents made me recognize what I really like. Also, being a Chemist, this activity made me feel like I am in the laboratory, mixing chemicals and stuff! The instructor was also very helpful and enthusiastically addressed all my questions. It was a good choice doing this activity. I will definitely come back next time. Highly recommended! 😊
An interesting and enjoyable experience—we got to learn about the different scent notes used in perfume making and how they come together. The instructor was kind and patient, guiding us well in creating our desired scent. I attended the B class, and while my brother joined the A class, both were meaningful in their own ways, offering slightly different experiences. Overall, it was a fun and insightful session. When I entered Lumiere I could start right away. Everything was explained in steps with examples and they stayed with you the whole time so when you need help they could help you right away. If you don’t know what to choose they will help you with the best fits. I really recommend !
