Hongdae Lumiere Perfume: Create your own perfume

A must-try experience in Korea! I booked through Klook, and it started promptly, with no wait. The studio was spotless, and the perfume-making class was very informative. Instructions were easy to follow, and I ended up with the scent I desired in a nice bottle. Kudos to my instructor, Ryy Gwang Hyon! I highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for a unique alternative to sightseeing, shopping, and dining while in Korea.

The environment is beautiful, and the staff are all very kind. If you don't speak Korean, you can communicate using a translator. The service was completed very quickly! I will definitely visit again!

I loved getting a chance to make a scent that reminds me of the time I spent in Seoul! not only that but the staff was so accommodating and helped me move my time to earlier when my schedule changed. it was so fun and interactive and the staff spoke English perfectly which made it so easy to follow!

Pushing open the activity room door, I was gently enveloped by a room full of floral and fruity scents. This DIY perfume experience was far more interesting than I imagined—from understanding the layers of top, middle, and base notes, to carefully blending my unique proportions with a dropper, each step felt like a chemistry lesson for the senses. My favorite part was the scent-testing. The crispness of orange blossom, the tranquility of cedarwood, and the brightness of bergamot bloomed one after another on the testing strips. It truly showed me how scents can carry emotions. As the perfumer patiently explained the story behind each essential oil, I suddenly realized that perfume isn't just a simple mixture; it's a love letter written to oneself through fragrance. Finally, I took home my unique 50ml creation, with a handwritten label on the bottle. When a colleague asked about the origin of this special perfume, the proud feeling of "this is my scent" was probably the most precious meaning of crafting something by hand. I can't wait to participate in the next session!

I tried the Wonwoo set, and it was a fantastic experience. The perfumer was very nice and let me personally experience the decanting process. The Wonwoo set smells wonderful, and the scent is very pleasant. I'll come back to create my own perfume next time I have the chance.

A unique and money-worthy experience. The instructor is very patient and warm. Their scents are also good! I recommend this activity if you are in Seoul.

Very helpful staff, especially for English speaking customers. Great experience with my parents for a memorable gift. Very convenient location as well, easy to find with public transport. Wide range of fragrances, pleasant environment and esthetically pleasing atmosphere. Calm and relaxing as well. 10/10 would recommend.
