The stalactite cave is spectacular, highly recommended! I didn't have high expectations for the castle, but when I arrived, I found it to be magnificent. It's a bit of a shame that our visit was so short.

I highly recommend this tour of Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave. We were picked up at a nearby hotel and traveled in a small group, which made for a pleasant experience. Our guide, Victoria, was excellent and shared fascinating information about Slovenia, the castle, and the surrounding region. Admission to both attractions was included in the tour price.
We spent about an hour exploring Predjama Castle with an audio guide before heading to Postojna Cave. The cave was more crowded than I expected, but it was absolutely stunning. The train ride into the cave was a highlight by itself—I could have ridden it all day! The walking paths were well paved, though there were a few moderately steep sections.
Overall, both sites were spectacular, the tour was well organized, and I would happily do it again.
