we had a great time! Carp was an amazing guide! She told us so much about each area. shw knew so many languages it was so impressive. there was more than enough time in each place. i really enjoyed this trip
This day tour is great. You can take the Shinkansen to Nagano Station to join. The snow huts are beautiful, you can play in the snow, and having hot pot in the snow hut is very special. The monkeys soaking in the hot spring are very cute. The spring isn't big, but the snowy mountain road and forest leading to it are beautiful. Zenkoji Temple is also beautiful.
The entire trip was enjoyable, all thanks to a great tour guide who knew several languages and was very impressive. He not only introduced the attractions but also broadened my knowledge and deepened my understanding of Japan. I was very satisfied with the tour guide and his professionalism. 🫶🏻 First attraction: Iiyama Snow Hut. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy the lunch package for my departure date, so I only saw the snow hut in Iiyama. Staying for almost 2 hours was a bit too long. In the end, I paid for a snowmobile and snow train sightseeing ride, otherwise just looking at the snow hut would have been a bit boring. But it was a special experience because the snow hut is only available for a limited time. The grilled chicken skewers from the small shop next to it were delicious. Second attraction: Jigokudani Monkey Park. The scenery along the way was beautiful, very comfortable, and well worth a visit. The ice cream and apple pie I bought at the cafe were delicious, and the sweet potatoes from the small shop were also very tasty. Third attraction: Zenkoji Temple. The place is very large, and what attracted me the most was the variety of delicious food inside. The trip ended around 5:40 pm. The tour guide arranged everything very well, going to the farther attractions first and then to the city center. I was very satisfied with the itinerary.
The limited-time Iiyama Snow Hut event is really worth participating in. Thanks to Lion Travel for planning the itinerary and the guide, Ms. Carp, for her multi-faceted and friendly service, detailed explanations of each attraction, and comprehensive answers to traveler's questions. Thumbs up! Highly recommended.
This tour satisfies three of Nagano's most characteristic winter attractions in one day, completely eliminating worries about transportation or food. It's very convenient for those who want a carefree trip! Seeing the snow monkeys bathing in the hot springs at Jigokudani Monkey Park is truly unique and worth the trip! Be prepared to walk 40 minutes in the snow to see the monkeys. Note that in the actual itinerary, Zenko-ji Temple is placed at the end (4-5 pm), at which time the temple and shops are preparing to close. If you want to visit, shop, or buy a Goshuin stamp, you will regret missing it. Thanks to our guide, Xiao Feng, for his attentive care and arrangements throughout the day~
The snow monkey experience was one of the best things I have ever done. The whole day was well organized and very comfortable. Colin, the tour guide was friendly, approachable and full of knowledg. I would highly recommend anyone to book this tour.

The itinerary is worth the experience, time, effort and money spent on the tour. The guide, Ms. Lai had been very helpful and supportive to the whole group, even despite a minor incident that had happened to one of the tour members. Overall is very good! Thanks Klook!
