A well organised tour but Klook is lacking several updated info. The tour uses Waiheke Reserve ferry and not walk up. The Platform info is wrong and it does not tell that you need to go exchange for a voucher at Fullers ticket office. Good thing I had the foresight to head to office one day before to enquire about ferry, and Fullers quickly printed out my ticket and explained it is indeed Reserve ferry which departs from different platform. the reserve ferry is nice and had free welcome sparkling wine or juice. the tour was well organised and olive oil delicious but the only 2 wineries were just ok and rather stingy in tasting. cable bay had only 1 rose, white and red while mud brick had 4 types, and while OK in taste felt rushed and stingy. the lunch provided was average with slow service, cold food and expensive second glasses (first was incl.) kai was our driver and she was great, funny and a good host, bringing us to some pix spots as well.
The tour with Allpress Olive Groves and Mudbrick vineyard was great. Cable bay experience could have been better but the lunch served at the Batch was absolutely delicious with great views. Waiheke is worth a visit!
Worth the time and Simon was really helpful. Nice guide! Wine quality wise bit average so as the food. However, trip like this is to find out if it fits you or not. so cannt complain. Recommend the trip for those like to have a disconnect and enjoy the view on the island.
