Chiang Mai Wat Phra That Doi Suthep & Hmong Doi Pui Village Half-Day Cultural Exploration

This was a great experience. The guide was friendly and informative. she gave us interesting facts and good recommendations. The temple was busy but beautiful. The Hmong village had beautiful views from the hill top garden .

The guide was informative and explained the history clearly. The weather was cool, which made the trip comfortable. We also stopped at Wat Pha Lat as the first temple, which was not included in the itinerary but turned out to be very good and a nice surprise. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is beautiful and very interesting, definitely the highlight. Hmong Doi Pui Village was okay, worth a short walk but not the main draw. Cable car tickets for both up and down were provided. Well organized half day tour and a good way to see Doi Suthep without the hassle.

we went to see a local market where you can buy worthy local produce and clothes at a bargain price. Out tour guide Kim, explained everything about Doi Suthep very well. The schedule is on time and even had a time to be drop off in a mall.

The trip was nice but you have limited time to explore each place. The tour guide was so accommodating. She also helped us take pictures. Orange was knowledgeable of both places we visited. At least, we all got the chance to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and Hmong Doi Pui Village at a faster pace and was able to take great pictures that would last a lifetime. The temple has a lot of visitors on that day too. Despite the influx of tourists and local people, I enjoyed our tour here. Also, I was able to visit the flower garden with man-made falls inside but wasn’t able to visit the other garden because I was caught up buying souvenirs and got a little time left to explore the Hmong Doi Pui Flower Garden. There I bought jade authentic bracelets made in Myanmar, for me and my Mommy. I highly recommend this tour. Our transportation went well and the tour guide, Orange was so accommodating.

I appreciate the tour picking us up from our rental accomodation, and wat phra that doi suthep is scenic, but I totally agree with other reviews with either this particular tour or others that follow the same itinerary; the stop at the Hmong village is due to convenience rather than it being an attraction unfortunately. the Hmong village is higher from doi suthep, but within the same path so it makes for an easy to drop by as another "attraction." however, its mostly a large souvenir open market, and the garden isn't really special (entrance fee for the really tiny waterfall and garden is 20 thb per person). I just wish there was something more unique to the village, even though I don't mind supporting the Hmong village itself. I just wish doi suthep was paired with better attractions, but my geographic guess again is that it is isolated and not close to other attractions.

There were about 10 participants and everyone was friendly! The transportation in Toyota's luxury car was very good! The guide's explanation was in English, but it was easy to understand, and even I, who can't speak English, was able to understand about half of it! However, it can't be helped, but the overall time was short. I would like to participate again.

Everyone on the tour was very polite, and the itinerary was very relaxing. It rained a bit, so the view wasn't perfect, but the schedule was flexible, and we were still able to enjoy nature. The restaurant was fairly standard. The guide spoke English well, which was convenient, and the itinerary stuck to the schedule relatively closely.

prepare people who have car sickness in windy roads to take medication. I don’t have motion sickness but van was hot and was getting uncomfortable
