Reviews
Original I guessed it is a hiking tour. But in real, I do not walk a lot. We went to waterfall path and maybe walk 100m. All views are beautiful, and bus stop near the views. I recommend you selecting the tour.
the tour was interesting and the tour guide was very friendly and spoke very very good english. we enjoyed the waterfall although we expected a bit more trekking. we also enjoyed the waterfalls very much. the only problem we had was the van was a bit cramp and stuffy and we all felt car sick.
I had an incredible time on the Doi Inthanon Day Tour! It was easily the highlight of my Chiang Mai trip. From the stunning views at the King and Queen Pagodas to the refreshing power of the Wachirathan Waterfall, every stop was breathtaking. Standing at the highest point in Thailand was a great feeling, and the stop at the Karen Hill Tribe coffee village was a lovely, authentic cultural experience. The tour organization was flawless, and our guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. If you are looking for a day escape into nature and culture from Chiang Mai, I highly recommend this tour!
Visiting the Elephant Sanctuary was one of the better experiences during our Chiang Mai trip. The place felt ethical—no riding or forced performances—and it was nice to see the elephants free to roam, eat, and bathe without being treated like entertainment props. The guides were friendly and gave us a short but informative talk about the elephants’ backgrounds and behavior. We got to feed them, walk with them, and even bathe them in the river, which was both fun and heartwarming. You could tell the elephants were well cared for. It’s not a full-day activity (ours felt a bit short), but still very worthwhile. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that parts of the experience felt a bit touristy and rushed—but overall, it’s still a must-do if you’re in Chiang Mai and care about animal welfare.
The van felt luxury to me, and it was a 10 person group. It was lovely to visit 2 beautiful waterfalls, and up to the highest peak of Doi Inthanon, and the Grand Pagodas. Not much of walking needed. The lunch was great, red brown rice with 3 dishes and a coconut milk soup. End with sweet pineapple and watermelon. Delicious! Visiting the Karen village and Mong market is a plus too.
The Doi Inthanon National Park Day Tour was amazing! The breathtaking locations, delicious food, and our fun, engaging tour guide made the experience unforgettable. As a solo traveler, I also enjoyed connecting with others on the tour. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Chiang Mai!
At the beginning, my group has to go with the drive only. The staff didn’t explain why there was no tour guide. She just asked us to wait for the tour guide at a gas station. After 25 mins, we then learned that we have to share the tour guide with another group. Apart from that, we are satisfied with the arrangement.
The tour guide was nice and professional. She even brings some snacks for the dogs outside. The trip was good, just the weather was misty, hard to see the scene.
Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! The tour guide was very helpful and so acccommodating. We were a small group and the whole was very informative and breath taking.
great experience and worth the price as solo travel. Visit many great place and learn history about Chiangmai (Lana Kingdom). The tour guide is very friendly and good informant.
