Join a lovable polar bear who brings stories to life as he journeys through the past, present, and future hidden inside books. Along the way, he meets new friends, shares tales that spark imagination, and helps children see the value of diversity.

Through these adventures, kids’ questions and worries are gently woven into the stories, leading them to discover how we can protect our planet—especially the polar regions—together with the world.

This special performance is presented by Bukgeukgom Theater. The name “Bukgeukgom” combines buk (which sounds like the English word “book”), geuk (the Korean word for play or theater), and gom (meaning bear). In Korean, “bukgeukgom” also means polar bear, which is why the character is affectionately introduced as Book Bear.

Told through the eyes of children, this performance is a playful yet meaningful journey filled with wonder and care for our future.
