Reviews
This was our main goal in our Korea trip and it rrally ended up being our highlight. There was just a bit of a challenge from our end because I didn't see any options when i booked as to when I wanted to have our ski class (the lift pass may also be used as the gondola sightseeing pass but ahould be used within the same day only) and our snowy land pass. by default, the ski equipment will be rented out before reaching the main resort so if the clients are doing snowy land first on their arrival date and then aki on the next day, they will have to rent the ski equipment for 2 days. then it also needs to be highlighted that even if the hotel chexkout after 2 nights is at 11am, the bus will only leave the resort at 530pm. so better to reserve that afternoon for exploring the vivaplex mall (basement level). good thing for us it snowed that time while waiting for thw bus so we also had a great time despite "just waiting" for our bus back to Seoul. in snowy land daytrippers leave around 4pm.
Second visit to this ski resort. The whole process is seamless. Hop on thw bus at the pick up point, select ski attire, reach the resort within 2.5 hrs. Package inclusives transport, ski attire and equipment, room stay for 2 nights, snowyland and ski/snowbording pass. No trainer though. Staff are very professional.
Overall a very good Vivaldi 3D2N package. The hotel stay was comfortable with spacious, clean, and warm rooms. Snowyland and ski activities were well arranged and free and easy. Local agents were very helpful and always ensured we caught all transfers on time.
This was my first time skiing. Our family of four, two adults and two kids, booked a two-night, three-day package through Klook that included a day of lift tickets and equipment, and a day of Snowy Land tickets. I felt that Klook didn't write the itinerary very completely, so at first, I didn't know what to do next. For example, it says it departs from Seoul at 7:00 AM. But they actually drive to a place to rent ski clothes and hats first, and stop there for about 20 minutes. The ski clothes are returned to the rental shop on the last day when they drive back. The hats must be returned to the 2nd floor of Building C before 6:00 PM on the second day. See? This information is not written on Klook at all, so you have no idea how to arrange your three-day itinerary. If you plan to ski on the third day, you're out of luck because you won't have a hat to use. I originally thought there would be a guide on the tour bus to explain these things, but there wasn't. There was only someone at the meeting point to put you on the bus and that was it. They mainly contacted you via WhatsApp. Also, the 7:00 AM bus to the ski resort was super bumpy, and many kids were complaining about feeling unwell. When you arrive at Building B of the hotel, everyone gathers their luggage in a corner (as shown in the picture), so you don't have to worry about storing your luggage. On the first day and the second day, I booked a total of three one-on-two instructors and one group lesson. Each instructor had a different teaching style, but one thing is certain: if you're bringing young children, it's best to wait until they are at least five years old because the kids have a lot of equipment to put on. After they get dressed, they have to pick up ski boots and skis, which takes at least an hour. The kids are slow and don't understand English very well. Basically, if you choose one-on-two for two hours, the instructor can only take care of the younger one. It's better to choose one-on-one, and you can practice on your own. One-on-two costs NT$6600 for two hours. Some of the instructors here speak a little Chinese, but most of them speak English. Also, if you want to learn to ski, you have to carry four skis, four poles, and take your kids to the ski resort, which is hell. We started with a group lesson, but I bailed out after half an hour because our four-year-old brother couldn't keep up at all. It would have held everyone back, which I felt bad about. Our family bought our ski clothes on Taobao, and then rented lift tickets and equipment separately on the first day. On the second day, we used the lift tickets and equipment that came with the two-night, three-day package. On the third day, we went to Snowy Land to play.
JSKI Ski School is very professional, the transportation and accommodation are great, the facilities inside the resort are abundant and fun, I would like to come to Vivaldi Park again next time.
a very convenient on stop option. kids friendly venue and the price is reasonable. I would recommend to family with kids.
Whole experience was good with smooth transportation and tour guide. Price is reasonable for people who want to have the first experience of winter recreation though the accommodation can be better. Our room was very dusty and there were rubbish found under the bed.
great experience and communication, easy access and instructor was great, kids really enjoy the stay and would like to stay for longer
The accommodation was acceptable overall, but several aspects left me disappointed. I was assigned 2nd floor with a view of the car park, which felt uninspiring. The biggest concern was the heating system. There was no way to adjust the temperature, and the only option to cool the room was to unlock the balcony door. This raised serious safety worries, as it meant leaving the room accessible while we were asleep. Although the service desk reassured me that CCTV cameras were in place, it did not fully ease my concerns. Another issue was the transport schedule. The shuttle back to Seoul city only departed at 5:30 pm, while check‑out was at 11 am. This left a long gap with no practical solution. On the positive side, the JSKI ski guide was outstanding. Patient, friendly, and genuinely supportive, they made the skiing experience enjoyable and were a highlight of the trip.
we did have great time, everything is in place, great accommodation, great guide , definitely book again next time
