Taoyuan Airport (TPE) Kuo-Kuang Round Trip Bus Tickets in Taipei

If you arrive at Taipei Taoyuan Airport at night and clear immigration, the airport MRT will no longer be running. Taxis are quite expensive, costing over 60,000 won to get to the city center. However, you can take the Kuo-Kuang Bus for 5,000-6,000 won, and its final stop is Taipei Main Station. Buses depart every 20 minutes, so even if there's a long line, you'll only have to wait about 20 minutes before you can board. I bought a round-trip ticket on Klook, and when it was time to return, I just showed my ticket and boarded the bus directly.

Since I'm traveling solo to Pattaya, Thailand, and departing from Luodong to Taoyuan Airport with only a 20-inch carry-on, I came here first to buy my tickets. I purchased a round-trip ticket, and it's cheaper to book here because you get cashback, which is highly recommended! 👍 I'll take the bus to Taipei Bus Station, then transfer to a Kuo-Kuang bus directly to the airport. There are signs on the ground, making it more convenient than the MRT, and I won't have to walk much. 😁

It's very convenient to exchange tickets; you can exchange your return ticket when you arrive in Taiwan. The boarding location is also easy to find, and if there isn't heavy traffic, it takes about an hour to get from Taipei Main Station to Taoyuan International Airport.

very convenient way to get from airport - city - airport. when we first landed at Taoyuan, redeemed tix and waited a while for the bus. however took us more than an hour to reach Zhongsan (near our hotel) due to heavy traffic. On the return day, took a taxi to Taipei bus station and got on the bus 1819. Took approximately 50mins to reach T1 Taoyuan. Bus boarding area is Level 4 at Bus terminal. Easy to locate. Recommended way to travel from airport to city and back

Our flight to Taipei was delayed and I had to run to the ticket counter to claim the tickets since it says they're only open til 2:30am. We were able to ride bus 1819 sometime after 3am. Ticket counter was still open by then though. No other issues whatsoever. I was also able to use the return ticket without any problems.

I visited Taiwan during the long weekend. I use the Kuo-Kuang bus every time. It's easy to book and use on the same day. The seats are spacious and comfortable. The short intervals between buses mean I can catch one even when my flight arrives late at night.

The bus ticket was easy to redeem. airport staff were helpful when asked for the location. Overall, efficient.

Back and forth tickets will be provided at the counter so keep your return ticket with you price: very affordable transport included: good value for money. the driver at the airport even helped us put our luggage in the bus compartment. Although in the Taipei bus station, the driver did not helped us with our luggage at all lol
