Reviews
I joined Klook's 5-day, 4-night cruise, but I was really disappointed. The ship arranged was old and dilapidated. We were assigned a room at the stern, and the engine noise was super loud all night, making it hard to sleep. The bedsheets and linens in the room were stained everywhere, and the bathroom hygiene was terrible. After staying one night, I immediately complained to the travel company. Luckily, we switched to another ship the next day. The drinks and onboard spending on this new ship were one to two times cheaper than the first ship. If we hadn't switched ships, the expenses for the 5 days and 4 nights would have been unimaginable. Overall, the value for money was extremely low, and I strongly advise against participating. Even after switching to the new ship, it's definitely not worth the price. Booking directly yourself could save you half the cost.
Good to know
1 Choose a Left-Side Seat on the Flight to Luxor: Get breathtaking aerial views of the Nile River and green fields during your descent into Luxor — perfect for photos!
2 Visit the Temples Early Morning or at Sunset: Avoid the midday heat and large crowds. Early visits to Karnak or Philae Temple offer magical light and better photo opportunities.
3 Bring Small Change (EGP): Useful for tipping bathroom attendants, buying local snacks, or small souvenirs at local markets without overpaying.
4.Pack a Light Scarf or Shawl: Great for sun protection during temple visits, and useful if entering religious or conservative areas.
5.Buy Local Spices in Aswan Souk: They’re fresher and cheaper than in Cairo — especially hibiscus (كركديه), cumin, and saffron.
6.Download Google Maps Offline: Many temples and areas have poor signal — having an offline map helps you track your journey and learn as you go.
7.Don’t Miss the Night Entertainment on the Cruise: From belly dancing shows to Nubian music nights, these are fun, cultural highlights many travelers overlook.
8.Carry Mosquito Repellent: Especially during warmer months — useful on the cruise deck at night or during evening temple visits.-
