Great experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finding the place was easy with the clear instructions and photos provided. We were warmly welcomed with delicious drinks, and the place was clean and neat. We started on time with a quick market tour. The market was very close, and they thoughtfully provided a shopping basket and handheld fan for each person. Our guide shared interesting info about the ingredients and Thai culture. The cooking itself was easy to follow and very well organized. The assistant cooks were also friendly and quick to clean and prepare everything for the next dish. We also received certificates with our names written in Thai and got to fold our own lotus flowers to offer at a nearby shrine, which was such a nice cultural touch. Overall, such a fun and memorable experience! Would definitely recommend this cooking class.
Our family of three participated in the 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM session. We made four dishes, and since we completed every step ourselves, the satisfaction level was very high. The ingredients used were excellent, and we learned and were inspired a great deal. We even made coconut milk ourselves from freshly grated coconut, which is usually familiar to us in cans in Japan. The instructor taught us in a fun and polite manner, using a mix of English and a little Japanese. The dishes we made turned out perfectly! The Tom Yum Goong soup, in particular, was amazing. Our 12-year-old child even customized their soup by omitting chili peppers and cilantro, which they don't like. This is a highly fulfilling tour. While visiting tourist spots is great, we also recommend participating in a tour like this occasionally.
An amazing cooking class experience! It allowed me to be a master chef for half a day 👩🍳 I traveled alone for this experience, and the instructors at the school were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English! I highly recommend both the morning and afternoon classes, as they include a market tour and a brief introduction to some of the ingredients found there. You'll make a total of four dishes and receive a butterfly pea flower drink. The instructors explain each step in detail, so there's no need to worry about not being able to make the dishes. My instructor was Piao (pronounced: pee-ah), who was very kind and humorous—I absolutely loved her 👍. Upon completing the class, you'll receive a certificate. The instructor was very thoughtful and tried her best to transcribe our names into Thai on the certificate. Finally, she taught us how to fold an open white lotus flower, which perfectly complemented the school's excellent reputation and brought a wonderful experience to a close. I purchased the class through KLOOK, and I truly urge everyone visiting Thailand to give it a try. Afterward, you can explore the nearby flower market~ PS1: The school is located on the second floor. Enter the market through the main gate, which is opposite the landmark, then take the escalator on the left up to the second floor. The school will be on your right. There's a restroom outside the school, but it costs 5 baht to use when class isn't in session. It's free during class, so you might want to hold it in for a bit 😂. PS2: I noticed they have a luggage storage area, so if you have a suitcase, you can ask about it on-site~
The cooking class with Ms Jeab was absolutely fantastic, she is a lovely and kind and funny teacher. She patiently introduced all of the ingredients during the morning market tour and during the class she was very attentive and caring and helpful for all of us. The vibes here are friendly and definitely a good experience here. I came alone and left with a bunch of new friends and exciting memories. And of course, some Thai Food Recipe 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This cooking class was an absolute blast from start to finish! The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and made even complex techniques feel easy and fun. I learned so much, not just about the recipes, but also about the culture and history behind the dishes. The ingredients were fresh, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly. I left feeling inspired and confident to recreate these amazing meals at home. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to boost their culinary skills and have a fantastic time!
I booked the White Lotus Cooking Class in BKK thru Klook during my recent trip, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences of my vacation. From the moment I arrived, the staff and instructors were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, making it easy for everyone to feel comfortable regardless of their cooking experience. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who enjoys cooking regularly, the class is designed in a way that everyone can follow along and have fun. One of the highlights of the experience was learning about authentic Thai ingredients, herbs, spices, and cooking techniques. The instructor explained the purpose of each ingredient and shared useful tips about Thai cuisine, which gave me a much deeper appreciation for the food I had been enjoying throughout my stay in BKK.
We had a wonderful experience at White Lotus Thai Cooking School. A special thank you to Jeab, who made the class both enjoyable and informative. Her English is excellent, and she shared so much about authentic Thai food, local ingredients, and Thai culture, which made the experience even more meaningful. I would also like to thank her for the extra kindness and support she showed to my daughter throughout the class. She was patient, caring, and made her feel happy and included. Thank you, Jeab, for making this such a memorable experience for us,Highly recommended!
This was one of my favorite things I’ve done in Thailand. I highly recommend, everyone is amazing and the food is all fresh. My teacher was Jeab and she not only guided us through the recipe, but gave us amazing tips we can take back home with us. It’s more than an activity, it is a genuine class that teaches you how to make Thailands staple dishes!! Can’t wait to come back when they have another menu to choose from 😸
We booked this activity on my husband’s birthday and we’re glad that we did! we enjoyed every second that we spent there. We went on a market tour before we started cooking and had the chance to see where local people get there kitchen ingredients and flowers. The magic started the moment we proceed ro cook! Jaeb was fun and thorough during the cooking session and I was impressed that my husband managed to cook his own food after the class. it was an amazing cultural experience. highly recommended!😊
The Thai cooking class provided a well-structured and engaging experience. The instructor demonstrated strong expertise, clearly explaining each step while maintaining an interactive environment. The ingredients were fresh and well-prepared, and the menu offered a good balance of traditional Thai dishes. The hands-on approach allowed for practical learning, making it suitable for both beginners and those with prior cooking experience. Overall, it was an enjoyable and informative session that delivered good value.
