[SG Culture Pass] Gemstone Oriental Cluster Earrings by Floral Knots

Inspired by Singapore's Peranakan culture, earring patterns include floral motifs, fan designs and many more. Customise with styles from long dangling to short simple to cluster, or come up with something completely unique. There is a style for everyone.
Use real gemstone beads such as Rhodonite, Rose Quartz and Australian Jade (240+ gemstone types), with gold and silver-plated earring elements.
Learn more about jewellery design, essential wire-wrapping techniques and assembly using jewellery tools. Ask our friendly instructors should you have any questions.

Workshop Description
This workshop is suitable for beginners. The instructor will carefully guide each student in designing and making the earrings. Workshop is roughly 1h 30 mins.
- The workshop opens with a short storytelling segment set in colonial-era Singapore, where jewellery marked important occasions.
- Design Process: Participants are introduced to the gemstone beads and earring styles used in Peranakan designs.
- Hands-On Crafting: Participant can learn how to wire-wrap using jewellery pliers to make their earrings.

I came to this workshop alone. Angelina was really patient, as she demonstrated and guided me on how to do the wiring with pliers — which I found difficult and had to practise a few times. Overall, I had an enjoyable time here and loved the earrings I made!
I brought my cousin here to experience on how to make earrings and it's not easy as what we expected haha! There are lots of pretty charms, beads and gemstones for us to choose! The faciliator Lynn is very patient and gives clear instructions on how to assemble the earrings together. Will definitely recommend for those who are interested to have a fun and intrigued experience. I will definitely bring my friends next time for other workshops! ♡♡♡
Went with a friend to this workshop. Both of us enjoyed our time here. There were many charms, gemstones and beads to choose from. Facilitator Nat was very friendly and helpful in guiding us how to do the wiring for the earrings. The duration of the session is dependent on how decisive and fast the individual is in choosing the design and wiring of the earrings. Indecisive me took about 3 hour 😅but the earrings turn out looking great!
The activity lasted for three hours and was quite interesting. However, I feel that the price of the activity could have been slightly lower, given that the cost of the materials is not that high.
Instructor Lynn was patient and went through how to make the earrings step by step. There were lots of charms, beads and gemstones to choose from so you can really personalise your earrings based on how you like it. Tiring but fun workshop!
