Reviews
my tour guide Santosh arrived the meeting point early and sent me a pic so I can find him easily. lucky me to me the only one guest. Santosh shared a lot of information for the paces we visited. He also made sure I did not do inappropriate things to show no respect to the culture which is very important.
It was a good experience especially if you only have half a day to spare. Totally enjoyed what Santosh has shared during the tour. Walked from PashupatiNath to BoudhaNath.
Santosh guided me through the temples and stupas and gave detailed explanations about thangka paintings and singing bowls. It was a very complete and enriching experience, allowing me to appreciate two different aspects of the culture.
Really interesting tour, saw a lot. tour guide was great to chat to and very knowledgeable!
booked a group tour but was pleasantly surprised to get a private tour because i was the only one who booked the time slot. managed to customize my tour to focus on the spots i am most interested in. tour guide santosh was very good in explaining the places, customs & religion. highly recommend this tour
This tour covers two must visit UNESCO sites and was excellent value. I learned a huge amount of background information while walking through the temple grounds with Sandip, who explained both the history, religious context, and different rituals performed in front of us. On the way, he also shared insights into everyday culture, including local shops, body piercings, and traditional clothing. He even pointed out different herbs along the roadside, which added another layer of detail you would easily miss on your own. A highlight was a short sound healing demonstration, which was a really unique and unexpected addition to the experience. Overall, it felt much more personal than a standard sightseeing tour and gave a genuine sense of both spiritual and everyday life in Kathmandu.
The tour guide's explanation was excellent and offered great value for money. I recommend it to everyone.
